THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

Why JJ over Guns on KRs? Guns is averaging 24 for his career. Very respectable.
I am presuming to get Gunner 100% healthy with the extra 10 days of rest, for Tennessee, then Buffalo.

Those are games where 1 good return could matter. It shouldn't, vs. Atlanta.

Can never have too many pass rushers. Uche goes to IR. He and Perkins have been disappointments for me.
Perkins, this is like a redshirt year for him, didn't expect too much from him, Uche was off to a good start but then he got injured and he's basically been a non factor the rest of the way which is disappointing.

Good point. We all thought JJ would be a decent KR but just hasn't materialized.

People have been complaining that Uche is not very good, this would explain it.
Hes been battling the ankle injury since end of TC.

What a difference it makes when our stud rookie QB has time to throw, it's not even like he got better, he just had more time in the pocket. Again add this to the list of dumba-s question marks for why the offensive staff thought it was OK to have Durant / Cajuste / Herron start at RT for 6 straight weeks.

.

With Judon on one side and Barmore in the middle, if we can get some pass rush out Wino, watch out!!!

We certainly need it from somebody, that's for sure... Was kinda hoping we'd have another DE in the building by now...

Too bad it's been allowed to linger this long if that's the case... Should've been taken care-of a month ago.
Well, they made him inactive in Week 1 and hes been gutting it out since. Clearly it's impacting his performance.

I agree. I think we should rest Smith's shoulder too. One week heals a nagging shoulder? Let the guys heal up - we will be OK without them. Neither Uche or Smith have looked great which usually means an injury.

Smith has been managing a shoulder injury for a number of weeks. Might be a rotator cuff issue b/c if he can't lift his arm above his shoulder then that limits him as a receiver. Better off keeping him in as a blocker or continue to use him for the slip screens, etc so he can keep his arms low to catch.

That's the problem with just looking at stats. Who knows what these guys are dealing with which limits their production.

just realized its dean pees coordinating the ATL defense. He has give trouble to the pats quite a bit in the past

Trap?
If Pats were sitting 9-1, everything having gone their way? Yeah.
But this crew is really just getting started after some adversity, they are feeling it, on an upswing.
Seem to have really come together as a "Brotherhood' as noted by Girardi
Jibes with what what we have seen, everyone joining in on Myers TD, for eg.

I expect the mood to be something like this:

'MONDRE MONDRE MONDRE'
