Smith's first coaching job was on the team whose field is named FedEx Field. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
And his second job was in Tennessee. I didn’t say he had a tough road, I’m sure it was “smoothed”

Just posted this in Ken's thread, but I'll repeat here. Since TNF became a regular part of the schedule, the Patriots are 7-1 in those games (not including season openers after SB wins, only the games on short rest). This speaks to Belichick's ability to gameplan and prepare a team efficiently compared to most NFL head coaches. The one loss was last year at the Rams, which was a west coast game against a great team with a 2020 roster that was pretty limited.

Good test for Mac with his first game on short rest. I'm excited to see how he responds.

We've seen teams beat us on short weeks before or our team under perform.
That's my only concern for this evenings game.
Our Pitts going nuts against our linebackers.
@Chris, see emphasized stat above. Your concern is supported by 12.5% of the experimental data.

I can't see Dugger being left on an island with Pitts. He'll get plenty of help.

Baltimore was a stone cold lock last week. Never take these teams lightly. Let Go Pats!

I'm in for a treat tonight because the Falcons are wearing their classic uniform tonight.

I'm blanking on who they lost to.

Just fired up the smoker. Getting pumped and jacked! When is it beer thirty?

Belichick alluded there's not as much preparation in a short week you are either not putting enough time into every situation or your guessing and focusing on what you think they will do you aren't prepared when they surprise you with the game plan.

I hate Thursday games.

Hoping for Patriots win but Belichicks concerns are valid to me.

I hate Thursday games too.

Pats still win but I have a feeling this game won’t be easy.

Mac will go 28-34 passing for 283 yards and 6 TDs.
