Seriously though, it seems like they call these vanilla, generic plays in those situations... for self-scouting purposes, I imagine, since they games are meaningless in preseason.

I'm not talking about this one play. Our 2pt plays aren't that creative compared to other teams. No one is calling for McDaniels' head. Just room for improvement.

Patriots DT Anthony Johnson was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. Just forced an incompletion on a hurry.

Johnson was projected as high as a second round pick back in 2014. I am not sure what caused his drop but he has a ton of upside.

This could be the best draft class for this team in a decade, and they didn't even have a 1st. Pretty excited with this.

There's really no correlation between how this board rates a draft on draft day and how we rate it 6 months later, let alone 6 years later. Drafting is a mysterious art.
