Here is my thought on the CBs. Why should Coleman get a special spot to himself? Has he shown anything to deserve it with his pass defense? Personally I say cut him and carry the 3 rookies and Roberts (if he keeps this up)

I think Coleman has moved back into that bunch of Roberts, LeBlank and j jones. I suspect Cyrus will have moved ahead of him.

I think Coleman will improve a little but this is what he is.

Only reason I say to trade Ryan he is in a contract year their is younger cheaper talent and it's a BB move to trade a guy who started last year at a position of strength.
He very well may not and opt to keep him but The value for good cornerbacks is top value.

I still think the CB2 spot isn't locked down behind Ryan. I can see Cyrus taking the role, but that's a lot to put on a rookie having him start there. I think they should keep Ryan and take the comp pick.

There is no one opposite of Malcolm who is experienced enough to play on the outside.

Coleman's performance tonight did not help

Well Mallet only ever went up against the 3s and he always sucked anyway. So this is good news.

It's excellent news. Brissett looked really comfortable out there.

Offensive standouts: Thuney(!!!), Garoppolo, Gaffney, Blount, Derby(!!!!!!!), Hogan (despite the bobble on his long reception near left sideline)

Defensive standouts: Brown, A. Johnson(??!!!), Valentine, Flowers(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), C. Jones, D. Roberts, LeBlanc

Most important takeaway and best news from tonight: Patriots seemingly came out injury free

!s= guys I really loved
?= didn't expect to see blow up but did

We need corners that can play man coverage. Can Cyrus do that? Did anyone see dobson tonight? He's not making this team. This Derby kid has shown alot. Has speed to get downfield.

Here is the question of value
Say you get a second or Third for Ryan and you keep a Roberts or Leblanc
Vs you keep Ryan he has a decent to good season leaves for top dollar you get a fourth but lost a Roberts or Leblanc type of talent.

No on the Ryan trade.
Absolutely agree. Cyrus is promising but he is just a rookie. Coleman hasn't really instilled a ton of confidence yet. The others haven't proven themselves against top competition either. You are really putting our cornerback group at great risk by trading Ryan. This team could well go the distance, I say we hold on to a solid starting combo for the year.

If Lucien hangs on to the perfectly thrown TD pass, 9/13 for 87 could have easily been 10/13 for 120 and a TD. Pretty good numbers from Brissett.

Flowers looked like a legit starter. I was excited to see what he could do and he didn't disappoint. Having Flowers, Derby and Roberts play well is like having three extra draft picks.
