RE: Topic of Wilkerson and the Practice Squad.

Saw this. Wilk and the others aren't going anywhere.

For the final week of the NFL regular season, the New England Patriots elected to utilize practice squad protections for the first time.

New England did so for wide receiver Kristian Wilkerson, tight end Matt LaCosse, defensive tackle Daniel Ekuale and safety Sean Davis, according to the NFL transaction wire.

The four protections, which mark the league’s weekly maximum under the 2020 collective bargaining agreement, will not be eligible to join another organization’s 53-man roster ahead of the finale. All four have either served as standard elevations or Covid-19 replacements this season for a 10-6 Patriots team that now stands with playoff berth.

Yikes Matt LaCosse have damaging pictures of somebody. Patriots FO needs to be more careful with their shenanigans. Can't wait for the Seventh Round Conditional pick For Harry *raised eyebrows*.

A little bit of a surprise, especially Wilkerson:

new rule in 2021 allows team to protect a practice squad player...so we need context if Wilkerson was given the tag. they can just be using the practice squad designation with game day elevation and its the same as a roster player for all effective purpose

Interested to see if Damien is limited or out today. He has about 11 days to be REALLY ready to go. And yeah, even if he’s pretty healthy, I’d be ok with leaning on rham instead this week.
The warm weather should be good for Harris' hammy at least. I stand by the hope that he didn't re-injure anything, just that they didn't want to push him any more than necessary.
It will be a crazy 2-week stretch going to MIA for 80 degree game, then the next week (likely) back to BUF at about 20.

Harris was at the postgame interview podium on Sunday. Same with Mills. Generally guys who are really injured don’t do that. So I think the 2nd half removal for Harris was precautionary, and if he sits Sunday it‘s for the same reason. Just my guess anyway.

Certainly not the A team:

Is there such a thing as an A team?

I watch games now at such a low volume level that I can't make out what the announcers are saying. I can still hear all the noises but they're muffled.

I miss the old days of announcing but not of the Patriots, not after the last 20 years of historic success. I still have a grin on my face when I think about the Patriots as the GOAT team in the NYFL, but here we are.

As for Sunday, here's to an upset by the Jets and a Pats win in Miami. I'd like to see another home game for all of you season ticket holders.

I’ve been on the Wilkerson bus since he’s been here.
I think he’s better than Agholar.
We will see if he can carry the success to a very good to great secondary in Miami.

Agholor in 14 games has three TD. Wilkerson has two after one game.

Oh I didn’t know he did a postgame presser. That’s great. Alright then I’d hope he plays this week and is a full go next week.

Go Pats!
Go Jets! (puke)
Go Broncos!
Go Texans!

Also, go Colts. has nothing to do with the Pats, but keeping both Pittsburgh AND Baltimore out of the playoffs would be delicious.

Isn't there still a way through which all 3 of the Squealers, Murderer-Worshippers AND blood Clots miss the POs?

Colts lose to Jags, and Raiders-Chargers end in tie. That would make it Pats/Bills, Chargers and Raiders as the wild card teams.

Getting everyone ready for Wednesday's activities...Good morning to all!!!!

Matty LaGlasse is “protected”? L O ****ing L…

Kahale Warring should’ve replaced this ****ing turd at the beginning of the ****ing season.

Harris hung around after the first Barfalo game too… and then proceeded to miss the next game in Indy two weeks later…

Did he do a postgame press conference? I guess it’s different for something like a hammy than a potential knee tear or something like that. After the game he likely is fine, but just doesn’t know yet if he’ll be able to perform on that leg in a week or two.
