Jones has the talent. But so have many QBs who flamed out. They don’t have the intangibles or the attitude to cut it in the big leagues. I didn’t like the whole McEnroe thing tbh that label really isn’t a term of endearment to me…I don’t think I’ll miss him when he’s gone.
Jones has little arm talent. So no he does not have the talent to be an NFL QB. Soft touch passes work when your in college playing for Alabama and throwing yo wide open WRs, but not in the pros.

Its strength of schedule. Washington’s opponents have played more total games than NE’s opponents so their SOS comes out .0001 lower if you do the math. Once all the games are done this week they’ll have an equal number of games and their SOS either will no longer be equal, or if it is, NE will be higher due to the head to head.
I believe interconference record is the next tie-breaker after division (n/a) and conferemce (n/a). WAS is 2-3 and Pats are 0-5.

We’ve won what 15 straight against these guys? History says pats are winning next week.

The only hope is that the jets players are tired of losing to us and wanna snap the streak and their defense not only stops us (likely) but also scores points themselves. I have no faith in the jets offense to do much.

If the Pats can hit on QB next year, fix their OL and get a threatening receiving group, there is absolutely room for them in the AFC playoff picture.
Is that all? Lol

McCorkle Jones > Zappy smurf. Jones would have won that game easy. No question.
Still fighting the good fight I see. I'ma call you Rob1. Lol

I wanted to agree, but I don’t know how Mac would’ve fared without Brown at LT, Strange at LG, and no Henry, Bourne, Parker or Juju. His cast he was surrounded with was a lot better than what Zappe has to deal with.

Bill isn't going anywhere and the fire Bill talk was just lip service to fans. Pats refuse to get blown out despite their offense, so the team isn't laying down. They'll beat the Jets next week.

With that said, major changes will be made in the off-season. The entire offense needs to be overhauled and Bill will have one more shot to hit on a QB.

A miracle happened. Boney T Thornton threw and sustained a block on the Zeke rushing TD.

As usual spot on.

Kraft owes BB that.

He did not need oxygen or for the trainers to cart him off the field.

If the Pats win next week, they will go all the way down to the 6th pick. They need to address the WR situation and OT so then they should fill those needs first and get a QB later on and hopefully sign someone like Cousins or Flacco as a stop gap. I don't want them trading up to get a QB and giving up draft capital .
Not necessarily. Of the teams w/ 5 wins only the NYG have a lower SoS than the Pats. GB winning tonight will raise their SoS. If these teams win next week, we may just drop to #4.

BB has made Kraft a ton of money and helped them become one of the most prestigious Franchises in the NFL with the 6 Lombardi's. He's essentially only had one chance to have a successor after Tom left. Fans thinking you can easily have a guy waiting in the wings to continue the dynasty are being unrealistic. That **** only happens in Madden. He's owed $25M next season and Bob isn't going to pay Bill, fire him and take a chance on a potential Adam Gase, Mike McCoy, Brandon Staley, etc. hire. He's too old to take that chance.

And from a business perspective, it's a horrible look on Bob to fire Bill right now.

Good chance for all of these to go in our favor minus pitt Baltimore.

The trend is down. Coaches don’t survive a low win year for a good reason. In Bill’s case it’s by his own making.
I still expect a change.
