Pop is a slot receiver. He should be catching more than one ball. I think we should be giving Chism opportunities.
what happened to chism?

I think I’m ready to move on from Stevenson. He isn’t that good and never was.
he was alright his rookie year wasnt he?

I dunno after a decent first half they crapped the bed.
Hate to say, but perhaps Maye is not who he is hyped up to be.. some bad passes, hesitation and not making good decisions quickly. Then there is ball security.
Campbell up and down, but it is a long way from "Death Valley" to the NFL.. give him a bit of slack right now and see how he progresses.
Saw this AM where Henderson was criticized, but difficult to run if there are no lanes open.
Did Duggar get any snaps yesterday??
The two TE combo for the Raiders is very difficult to stop.
As disappointed and pissed off about yesterday's loss need to see more before I can make any judgements about this team.. there were some bright spots that will get lost as the dust settles.

Got to be honest and admit that I don't really pay much attention to the Pats, or the NFL in general, outside of the regular season. I read about Free Agency on here and review the draft in a few places. That aside, I'm pretty much out of the loop. Don't watch pre-season games and I don't watch reports on practice session/training camps and the like. I'm really just here for the games.

Factoring in all of the above, my overriding feeling after Sunday's loss was that I was watching Week 18 of last season i.e. this just felt like a game we could have produced a week after the Bills win. Putrid offence, defence gashed by big plays, negative starts to drives, weak running game, brain dead penalties etc. Didn't really see anything which made me go, "Wow, this looks better". Nope, just looked the same.

The reality is we are clearly back at year 1 in this endless post-TB rebuild. We currently look like a 5-6 win team at best. Kinda depressing but there it is.

It's really bizarre that our running game was so bad

And we give up on that a bit too quick as well, we should at least given Henderson more touches since Stevenson was lacking
Give Rham's spot duty and bench Mack Hollins @ss; shake up the personnel.

We can fix this with a win in Miami.
Don't hold your breath after that kick @ss Miami got: they have Elite WR's who will Tax our DB's minus Gonzo.

Seeing as everyone else is mentioning him, I will too. I still think Maye needs to slow his whole world down. The first time I heard him speak I needed to rewind and listen to it again at half-speed. The kid seems overly amped. I'd suggest a sports psychologist. Drake clearly has the basic tools but if continues to play this jacked up he won't be the long term answer.

The play calling was fine today. Maye killed drive because of his inaccuracy. Maye is the biggest reason we lost this game.
Exactly the spin doctors can spin it all they want: Maye didn't remind any of us of Allen or Herbert sadly.

People ****ting on Pop Douglas yes: he that drop but Maye missed Him wide open in the Slot. Ray Charles could have completed that how wide open he was. Maye is terribly inaccurate at times not a good recipe for a young QB.

There were several plays that basically killed drives because Stevenson just sucked. Slow, no power, dropped pass. Not sure what happened to him but he's just a JAG at this point. I don't think Henderson is ready for a bell cow workload but I'd probably give Stevenson's snaps to Gibson and make Stevenson the third option.

Also agreed regarding Kyle Williams, he will make mistakes but if you can get a couple chunk plays to him a game then that will change how the defense plays you. Hollins really did nothing. Pop Douglas had the nice TD but otherwise was very pedestrian, or even bad, at times. I bet you Chism is a game day active next week, if Douglas doesn't prove his mettle then Chism will start getting snaps.
While this is true, it's really difficult to put a ton of blame on Stevenson.

To quote Jim Mora, "We didn't run the ball, we didn't try to run the ball." The Raiders were ready to get run over, the Patriots just didn't bother. I can't believe the plan was to have Maye throw 50 times, but it wasn't just when they were behind. They threw and threw a lot, even after it was clear Maye's decision making was...well, lacking. His performance today can be summed up on one play. The ridiculous Hunter Henry catch, when Maye laced it between two defenders. Stephon Diggs was *uncovered* 8 yards down the field, on the same side of the field. This isn't a 'hey look at this guy on the other side of the field away from the play', this was your 25 million dollar receiver completely uncovered, and Maye either missed him or ignored him, to make a hero play. That was Drake Maye today.

Of course Crosby had something to do with Moses' poor grade here.

There is no way that number on Onwenu was accurate. That fat tub of goo spent more time standing around than blocking people agian. They need to stop running him out on screens, he never gets out in time.

It wasn't even necessarily bad. They just didn't bother trying. They only ran the ball 14 times, and one was the Douglas end-around.

Even dogshit Ashton Jeanty (I ****ing told, all of you, by the way) got 19 carries (2.0 average, great stuff, #6 overall pick).

Maye looked slow to me and I do mean really slow running with it. What’s up with that.
He is thinking too much. Didn’t play instinctively
