Bad start. Looked rough at first, then a solid rest of the first half, then totally died in the second half and did very little. Discuss!

Edit: Ian beat me by a hair. Merged the threads

I gotta say…

This team does not look better than last year’s team at all.

And that’s saying something.

If this team loses to Miami, it could get really ugly this season as I don’t see another W for a while.

Not a good game for Maye or anyone else really. This team has a lot of work to do.

Playing like this we will not win a lot of games...

Miami will take their offensive woes out on us next week, or we’ll beat them easy, I don’t know any more

Shocking to see Miami get rolled by the Colts like they did. 0-2 is absolutely on the table.

Geno Smith is an experienced QB.

The constant blitzing with wide open men sitting in zones or else our CBs making VERY BAD decisions, this looked comical.

Whatever the defensive strategy is, you need to adjust it quickly.

This isn't going to work in the NFL.

People keep looking for a single scapegoat. It's Mac, it's Mayo, it's Maye. Even in 2019 people pinned it on Brady. The team is just talent deficient.

I made the homer pick at the last min like a dummy. My original pick was alot closer to the actual score. I like to give the pats the benefit of the doubt until they show me I shouldn't though.

Vrabel have a lot of work to do: this Defense is not good without Gonzo.

Worst development BY FAR way Drake Maye's play - he looked completely lost and rattled, like a taller Mac Jones.

I'm hoping those who have been quick to badmouth a certain someone and suggest the Patriots fortunes would've been gone radically differently had he been relieved of his duties sooner, realize how difficult it is to win games in the NFL and consistently coach/manage a contending team.

Plugging in a new coach/GM isn't that simple. Feels apt to mention in light of this week 1 game and the narrative that his presence was holding the team back from success. This **** is HARD.
