Do the math and extrapolate. He was on pace for less TDs and more INTs, less yards and a worse completion %. Clearly a guy who doesn’t care.Yeah because he missed 4 games and Herbert already proved himself as a top 10 QB.
FWIW I think we’re trying to create an offense similar to the Bills. Maye just isn’t Josh Allen, obviously. The whole logic is flawed, it's like we're trying to dink and dink and 3 yard run our way down the field like the good old days, we should have guys who have a home run threat like Henderson in the game and getting Drake out of the pocket and making big plays down the field.
Trying to recreate the Brady offense just isn't going to work, Maye looks like his head is spinning during the game he either didn't know what he was seeing seeing or what he's supposed to be doing.
I think it's information overload with McDaniels.
Yep and I hated during the dynasty years. Too many times we saw the running backs walking on eggshells. If they didn't get a good gain on one carry, Josh would abandon it and go 4-5 wide on the next play.Get used to it. It's what he does.
I want to see who the scorekeepers have with how many yards he gave up, but he seemed okay until the Raiders last drive he gave up that bomb. Alex Austin was giving up most of the big plays. I warned posters the day Davis signed he was going to piss you off on Sundays.- Carlton Davis should be charged with fraud if he cashed his paycheck
While I'm surprised how quickly many have turned on Maye, there are some that aren't seeing the disturbing trend with Maye and want to point the finger at something else.Ring6 backs Maye like he did Larry Matoney.
They scored two TDs. In what world is that dominating? It's worth noting that the raiders are absolutely dog ****. And get outside of three or four drive somewhere at the end of the first quarter into the second The raiders absolutely dominate the Patriots yesterday.
Dude threw the football 46 times and didn't even crack 300yds.While I'm surprised how quickly many have turned on Maye, there are some that aren't seeing the disturbing trend with Maye and want to point the finger at something else.
Why don't starters play a full 3 quarters in the 3rd game? They don't get enough reps in live action during the preseason. So why did Maye and the offense not play in the Giants preseason game again? They need the work especially the QB.
That seems like a difficult taskDude threw the football 46 times and didn't even crack 300yds.
The same thing occured with Bledsoe. While I'm surprised how quickly many have turned on Maye, there are some that aren't seeing the disturbing trend with Maye and want to point the finger at something else.
I think my favorite thing is how the Pats were favored in 11 games, plenty of people were predicting 8,9,10+ wins.... then the second they get embarrassed at home at start 0-1 the narrative flips to "everyone knew this was a 6 win team" and "we all knew this was a multi year process". Disingenuous doesn't begin to do it justice.
The evidence tends to to show that Maye is weak mentallyThe same thing occured with Bledsoe.
The first sign of trouble to come was trading Milton because he wanted Mayes job.
