The hard-carry job Jonathan Taylor is doing right now is pretty impressive.

In a fair world, he'd be the MVP front-runner, but we know that's not how voters look at it.

Daniel Jones is absolutely a passenger on this train. And there's nothing wrong with that. As opposed to Anthony Richardson who essentially was tying himself up and throwing himself in front of the train every start.
Taylor is and has been a great back in the league. His best statistical season was 2021- 1,800 plus yards.. any QB would look good with Taylor at RB guys phenomenal. Yeah Richardson is a bust.

I know people wanted to poke fun at people saying "his value is in everything he does along with being a redzone target" but it really is what you get with him. He's always gonna be a good culture piece. He's gonna throw some devilish blocks. And he's gonna be an option in the RedZone.

I think Hollins is a value add for teams that are young and finding their culture, and is big enough that he will be respected and at the very least open up the offense a few more degrees. I don't mind him taking up cap space.
The Buffalo Bills tried to resign Hollins and he picked the Patriots.

I wanted him...

Colts have drafted some ELITE offensive players. They have the best record in the league right now.

I feel like someone should have busted out that tape of Tom Brady asking people to rank the offensive coaches on each team.

DJ has had such football legends as Pat Shurmur, Mike Shula, Joe Judge, Jason Garrett, Freddie Kitchens, Brian Daboll and Mike Kafka coaching him up, on top of a pretty stolid NYG front office that moves as slow as molasses.

Shane Steichen is the guy who coached up Justin Herbert through is sensational his rookie year then went to the Eagles and got Hurts on the right track.

I think the organization in general and coaching in particular has a big role to play in what we see from DJ, just like it does in what we see from Drake Maye.

I too look forward to seeing DJ in the playoffs.

Your twin didn't want Hollins.
initially I had reservations on him too admitted this.. but he's got a role and he thrives in that role.. I also some some thinking that Boutte would be cut...

I did not think Boutte would be this good.

This may be behind a paywall, but is a very, very good complement to the Brady quote. Warning: Mac Jones and the 2022 offensive coaches brought up as examples…. The bust files: How NFL teams break young quarterbacks

Funny thing as I was reading this, though, is that it felt like we were going down the same bad-organization signs with Maye, too. Fortunately, it looks like Maye really is the “savior” type, and we know we hit a home run with his 2nd coaching staff.

I did not think Boutte would be this good.
He came on in camp.. this connection with Drake according to Boutte started last season.. Boutte can run every route and does what N'Keal bust Harry was supposed to do and devante stuck in park.. was.. he makes contested catches.

Twin: did you see that Statute Devante Parker erected to BB after that egregious extension?? And we said BB didn't value WR's.

Here's where I'm at. We beat the best QB in football IMO and last season MVP at a place we haven't won at in 4 years.. this team can hang with anyone.. Colts included. They are showing when they don't beat themselves they can hang with and beat anyone. While this team is still evolving and growing I fully look forward to seeing Drake not just make it to the playoffs but get his first win. Speaking for myself.

Parked Parker had a statue to BB huh?.. where was the statue at in Nantucket?
