What happens when the other defense takes away a NE Davante Adams type WR like the Pats did today? Are you going to have a whole fleet of stud WRs to carry the QB?
I disagree. The top part of the foot at that angle over the line doesn't meant he's out. Its the part that's on the ground that matters. I didn't see the game or the replays but that picture doesn't look out of bounds. I'll change my mind if I see other pics
Whoever said it was right - Meyers (and the rest of the skill positions) don't trust the O coaches AT ALL.
They're frustrated with the pathetic passing offense. That said, there were a lot of bad drops and bad throws and bad play calls.
being frustrated doesnt mean they know any better than coaches. its easy to sit and criticize and then go ahead commit false starts, penalties, offsides or sometimes dumb laterals commiting game and season ending turnovers.
Mac got two TD's that should have won the game. He made two more throws that would have put them in FG range which would have won the game.
He did enough to win that game. Even if you ignore all that, and just watch the game.... at worst he made the big pass that set up the go ahead TD and the defense **** the bed and he got screwed.
If you can go through 4 individual game changing plays the QB got hosed on by his coaches or teammates and all 4 would have won the game... and the QB should have had the game won without them... you can't blame the QB. Carr deserved to win less.
I understand the frustration about not having Brady, but I think BB's failures over the last couple years have a lot to do with the brain drain we've had at OC, DC, OL coach, etc.
Agreed Tom always made everything run, but for his whole career except the last season the team was well built, and well coached through all phases. The team is a shell of what it once was.
Bill asked about calling the timeout before the touchdown pass, he said they had the wrong play for that situation, well it couldn’t have been that wrong because the play was successful in scoring a touchdown.
No, it’s not. Just a mediocre QB and an overly conservative greenhorn OC. And Agholor sucks. Thornton hasn’t proven he was worthy of a second round pick.
Um, I guess you’re right. I’m wrong.
It is a train wreck. And that’s even with Rham being so awesome.
He got two TD's. His coach and his teammate took both away. What is he supposed to win the game when his coach and teammates are playing against him as hard as the Raiders?
Tom Brady isn't walking through that door. And if he did, it would be a 2019 situation and half this board would be mad at him... again
Defense doesn’t get off scott-free. On LV first TD - they go from 2nd and 20 at the 25 - give up a TD. TD right before half instead of holding to a FG. Then let them go 81 yards with no TO’s after hazing a 4th and 10.
That's not the point, no ones saying Mac's great or had a great game but to pin that loss on him just shows the agenda you guys have, plenty of blame goes to other coaches and players besides Mac.
Agenda? What? WTF are you talking about, he was a BUM against a WEAK Pass Defense team.
I was all for Mac, then I hovered on the fence.
I dealt with Grogan/Eason/Flutie/Hodson/Millen.
I've seen mediocre plenty,
I'm done with him now, if I'm forced to watch him I'll be there and cheer for him, but I don't want him leading the offense ... I'm obviously gonna be miserable because Bill will keep that 7/7/1900 boy in there... I'm used to it, sucks being a Jat fan Though..

I believe that is why we have gotten the short end of the stick on play calls.
We are a boring team to watch on offense so the NFL will do whatever they can to take us out of the playoffs.
I believe they can do this with any team
They feel has a small audience.
It’s clear a call here a non call here effect the snap here and the NFL can easily manipulate the games.
To be on the winning side or that you need a sexy offense.
