This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Thing is. A season ago we had 10 wins made the playoffs and a promising rookie QB who had 22 tds. You want to see growth.
Instead, We have gone backwards in every category. And this is pretty much on the coaching staff. And really on Bill for putting Patricia and Judge in the roles.
Mac got two TD's that should have won the game. He made two more throws that would have put them in FG range which would have won the game.
He did enough to win that game. Even if you ignore all that, and just watch the game.... at worst he made the big pass that set up the go ahead TD and the defense **** the bed and he got screwed.
If you can go through 4 individual game changing plays the QB got hosed on by his coaches or teammates and all 4 would have won the game... and the QB should have had the game won without them... you can't blame the QB. Carr deserved to win less.
Um, no. We played a poor defensive team. Their secondary is probably even worse than the Vikings. We gashed them in the run game. There were open receivers all over the place. Mac missed them too many times.
That's great. Add a TD for the two he got that his coach took away and his TE took away. Then add the two big passes he made that went incomplete because his "receivers" couldn't make basic plays. Then he's about over 200 with a TD and around 50% with the win.
If you need to blindly look at box scores you won't be able to overcome people picking apart what actually happened.
Mac grabs Chandler Jones face mask with 1 hand and vice grips his balls with the other and brings him down
Then gets a 15 yard penalty and raiders kick FG to win, Mac is a dumb piece of **** for not knowing better than to commit a penalty there
Hopefully I’m wrong but I predict that this will be the new norm on this board, even if Mac moves on and they inevitably cut Zappe, any QB we have will forever have factions blaming them when we’re losing
Brady leaving and this team being journeymen now is a disaster for an angry and miserable Boston fanbase
We basically have a bunch of Felgers on this board now and they’ll never go away because we’ll never have another dynasty like we did with Brady
Yeah you're 100% right. The last play was not Mac's fault, it was an awful tackle attempt and if he tackled him illegally the Raiders would have been in field goal range and the Pats would have lost anyway.
Sports radio absolutely has had a negative effect on the fanbase. With the team being so good for so long sports radio needed to be aggressively negative with dumbed down arguments to drive controversy. That worked really well when the team was good, but now that the team is mediocre the small bits of positivity that were on sports radio have disappeared.
Maybe if the team gets bad enough those fans will just go away and we can start fresh with stupid consensus takes.

This is the correct take. Every single player on offense besides Stevenson had a worse year than last year. Every single one. You have to look at coaching
lest we forget, the Pats only scored 20 points on offense vs one of the worst pass defenses in the league and last week only scored 20 points last week vs a similarly terrible AZ pass defense. we're talking TWO touchdowns....TWO! this is an offensive league, the days of winning w defense, special teams and running games are over....the Patriots have the worst offense in the nfl
I understand the frustration about not having Brady, but I think BB's failures over the last couple years have a lot to do with the brain drain we've had at OC, DC, OL coach, etc.
