New England now has another rookie under contract, with ProFootballTalk.com reporting that second round pick Rob Gronkowski has agreed to terms with the team citing a league source. He'll reportedly participate in practice today.
With the Patriots rookies reporting for training camp today, New England now has just two of them without a contract, leaving only first-round cornerback Devin McCourty and second-round linebacker Brandon Spikes awaiting deals.
Spikes was rumored to be close to a deal a few days ago, while McCourty talks have sounded positive in recent weeks. Hopefully we'll see both signed before the weekend is over.
