I think he Bryant is quite a find for us our RT of the Future.

Yeah, they already seemed to have nailed the draft otherwise but if Bryant is at least a solid swing tackle on top of that, wow

Might have Drafted a third of our OL of the Future: in one Draft... Campbell - Wilson and Bryant. remember Bryant played alongside Armand Membou @ Missouri.

Find me 10 better offenses that don’t make mistakes.
FYI in 3 of 4 games we have a combined 1 turnover.
Looks like a one bad game blip to me.
I don’t want to rain on the parade but look at the sked. They’ve played really bad to mediocre teams.

Will get a better gauge this weekend against a Bills team that should be in the AFC championship game in January.

The part I can’t believe is the read option.
QBs are choosing to hand off or keep, and trying to conceal it by carrying out the fake, and then responsible for the qb distracted opportunity to bury him. If you are carrying out a fake pretending to have the ball you are open game. I don’t understand how teams haven’t recognized the best way to defend this is to plant the qb whether he keeps or not. It would eliminate the play from the game.

I do remember teams keying in a this a few years back and murking QB's faking as the carrier.

I wonder if QB's are trained to make the fake handoff seem very real, but then to have a stride that suggests they're faking as a carrier - that's when flags get thrown, as a ref could determine, out of "reason", that it is obvious the QB is not a carrier. Basically, develop a handoff that looks fake to get defenders to bite in stride, maybe take one stride as the fake carrier, then quickly make it obvious you're the fake carrier, so if you get hit, it draws a flag?

I started the season thinking that we were a 50-50 team like the bettors who had us at 8 1/2 wins (8 or 9 wins likely, 7 or 10 less likely)).
After the first quarter, we are a 50-50 team.

Losing to BUF (even badly), shouldn't change my assessment.
I'll assess again after 8 games.
As of now, I expect us to be 4-4, give or take a game.
As of now, I expect us to be 6-6, give or take a game.
As of now, I expect us to be 8-8, give or take a game.
=======
My bottom line is that we are right on track as an improving team with lots of upward potential.

And then what?
I personally think it will be competitive.
Buffalo is NOT a juggernaut IMO, They can be beaten.

Just watched the mic'd up that was released a couple minutes ago of Drake and Hunter. Hunter has a lot of energy more than I thought. It was great as soon as he scored Vrabel gets to him and says pop sprung you and immediately Hunter goes to pop and shows some love. They show the play and he did have a great block. Vrabel reinforcing the team effort and recognizing players who do the less than glamorous work......its great to see.

I don't mean to be overly optimistic, but look at the sked:

New Orleans
Tennessee
Cleveland
Atlanta
NY Jets
Cincinnati
NY Giants
NY Jets
Miami

They play a lot of really bad to mediocre teams.

If we just conservatively say 5-4 that takes us to 7-6. Can we split the other 4 for a winning record? Or even do better than 5-4 and maybe get into the playoffs?

That would be a tremendous disappointment.

not any more
We have a new slot WR; Diggs.
You know he was only in the slot for something like 50 percent of his snaps right?

Let him talk, I shut him off, because he's the smartest guy in the room.
I don't deal with those guys, unless it's physical.
Let's create a thread for every single thought I have...bah, fkn you bruh.
Good Luck.
