With that just a few fractions of a second more, it enabled Mac to hit downfield finally

Interestingly, the one Patriot whose name I don't remember hearing called was the amazing Judon
But that might have just been those useless announcers.

I agree that I think Shanahan wanted Mac Jones. I think he was overruled. Jones is Shanahan's type of QB. I mean giving up three first rounders for a QB who looks to be a good year or two away from starting, seems very unlikely. Lance has the physical tools to be a great QB, but he is so far away from putting it all together to be a good QB. Lamar Jackson wasn't a great passer when he came into the league, but he was such a great athlete that he overcame his mediocre passing skills with his legs. Lance isn't that gifted. While Jackson could develop his passing skills while playing, Lance isn't gifted enough.

The team is 3-4 and has only beaten the Jets and Texans. The only team to run for negative yards a whole game in the last 50 years are the most pathetic Lions teams and this year's offense.

Kudos on the win today but BB is surrounded by mediocre staff, who benched Karras for 5 weeks and thought Durant/Herron would work for 6 weeks in a row.
