What about the chargers game last season? Didnt we put up 45 points
I just didn't have that feeling during the game - 2 Fumbles plus 14 pts off Gunner's punt return TD and McCourty's return of a blocked FG. 12 of 19 for 69yds from the starting QB isn't even firing on one cylinder.

Nice to see the best result of the year. Offense started clicking. Lots of positives, but I'm pointing out the negative areas we still need to fix before we can beat the next slate of teams:
- Mills is aggravating. Too many stupid mistakes. Very streaky.
- D did well against a useless Jets O, but we still couldn't get any sacks. (with athletic QB's that can escape, we need to improve)
- Bolden did well in the screens, but they have to stop handing off to him for TFLs.
- Jones down, now DMC. We really need Williams and Bryant to step up.
- JMD issues -
- I like the aggression of the trick plays, but don't need 4 in a game we're dominating. Don't show everything vs. 1-5 team.
- Don't like going away from Harris in the midst of 2-3 quarters, then when trying to re-start it, not as sharp.
- Too many "drain-the-well" calls. Smith in the first 2 drives, Bolden in the 3rd.

You should make sure you have your information correct. The Pats "didn't go away from Harris in the midst of 2-3 quarters. Harris had carries in both the 2nd and 3rd quarters. The only series of the 4 that he didn't have a carry was the 2 minute drill at the end of the 1st half.

There weren't any "drain-the-well" calls. Jones was hitting who was open. Smith was his 1st or 2nd read and was generally getting open.. Why is that an issue?

Out of the 17 plays in the 3rd quarter, they went to Bolden ONCE. You're confusing the 2nd and 3rd quarters. And they went to Bolden 8 times on the 2nd drive of the 2nd quarter. Which was the Pats 2 minute drill essentially.. That happens when your running that sort of drive.. And they went 68 yards on 13 plays in 1:28. You wouldn't be *****ing if it was James White out there..

We got a sack

This was the first game all year where the Pats just took care of business without any obvious blunders or general stupidity.

They played 2 trash teams before (Jets and Texans) and just sort of survived in spite of being dumb. This time they finally just took out the trash.
they played 3 trash teams before

Horrible man, injuries to young QBs are absolute horrid things. Hope Zach is back playing soon

I have watched most of every game of the rookie QB's this year. Trevor Lawrence is the only one I would choose over Mac. Mac has been better overall this season, but Lawrence will be elite. Whatever happens this season, I consider it a success because I am sure we are set at QB for the next decade plus.

Zach Wilson has the tools, but the Jete factor will kill his career. I will say that had Wilson fallen to the 49ers, I think he would be starting and looking good.

Fields looks awful. He has the athleticism, but he is not ready. I am not sure he ever will be. Could be a rich man's Dwayne Haskins. Hopefully for him, it's just that the Bears are inept.

And Trey Lance. I believe the rumors that the 49ers traded up to secure Mac. Then workouts and time played with their confidence, and their balls shriveled. Can we really take an un-dynamic QB at 3? Well, they went dynamic. He does not look like a QB. Neither did Lamar in his first year, so time will tell. Nobody expected him to play this year, so this is no surprise.

We will be back in Super Bowl contention with Mac Jones. The state of the Patriots is strong!

Ok, one of the negative Nancy's can pi$$ all over me now if they want.

Well that sure was fun! Outside of injuries, any complaints today are nitpicking, and I recommend people just enjoy life for a day.

wow...I'd hate to be married to any of you dyamed anal retentive know-it-alls. This was a SLAUGHTER. All week I logged on to "this game could be REAL bad!!", "that Jets defense is really good under Saleh!","Zack Wilson looks way way better and he won't throw interceptions like the first game!!!". It's been a few hours since the game ended...give the rest of us a break with all the nitpicking and fault finding you unbelievable women trapped in men's bodies. ENJOY THIS TEAM, Krist almighty

The best team in the conference is ONLY 5-2.....we are only 2 games out, baby!!!

Onto the Chargers!!! They are coming off a BYE after getting whupped by the Ravens. We have to fly out there.....

Let's gooooooo!

Anytime you put up 54 against an NFL team it's a good day. Bonus points for doing it vs Jete. Nice to get right today. On to San Diego The Chargers.

That sucks. So it could be anywhere from one to two weeks to season ending. I don't wish injuries on anyone even Jets players.

All I can say is hopefully this is a learning experience for Wilson and he learns to stand in the pocket more and try to make the easier plays when they are there and be more judicious when you roll out the pocket to extend plays for big strikes. Otherwise, he will not be long for this league.

They're 3-4... and they're 1 game outside of a playoff spot with 10 games remaining, so "could have been a playoff team" seems a bit premature.

Thx yea updated.

Great win today. So far have only beaten the Jets twice and Texans. So have to see if they can beat 1 non-terrible team.
