This was the first game all year where the Pats just took care of business without any obvious blunders or general stupidity.

They played 2 trash teams before (Jets and Texans) and just sort of survived in spite of being dumb. This time they finally just took out the trash.

Loved this game!!! This is exactly what this team needed. Great performance by Mac, Harris ran really good and our Defense came away with some big turnovers.

Great to see...hopefully, we can start to get on a run....what have I been saying "season starts today!!!" Let's get on a run here and put some wins together.

Went to the closet to get my Pats t-shirt for today’s game and found 4 “losers” already worn that were immediately ruled out. Had 1 new one I went to put on and remembered under the bed in a Rubbermaid container was a brand new “Bruschi” tee. Even though it was the Jets, no chances were taken for this “must win” so I got on my knees, dug out old #54 and look at the final score!! *Coincidence*?? I think not!

It was the first game they fielded competent OL..

If they did that first 4 weeks many things would look different.

Patriots are now the #9 seed in the AFC. They are 1.5 games behind Buffalo (who they still play twice) for the division lead. They're 1 game behind Cleveland (who they play in a few weeks) for the #7 seed Wild Card spot.

First time since the 1st Miami game in 2019 where the Offense fired on all cylinders, imho. Haven't smoked anything since the last bachelor party I was at over 15 years ago (cigar), but I'm in a similar mood. Maybe a port will suffice.

While I agree in regards to Mills, I believe he's playing hurt. He played with a hamstring that wasn't 100%. When he was 100%, he was excellent.

I was surprised they didn't elevate Ross to take over the Slot Corner position for Jones. Pats have 1 space open. Wouldn't be surprised if they added Brian Poole or DJ Hayden as early as tomorrow.

Pats will take a big hit if they're forced to put DMac on the IR.
