Game Day Thread Official Post Game Thread- Pats beat the Steelers

THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

Crazy

If the Safety actually stood early in the game the final score could have been NE 17 - Pitt 16 plus the 2 points via Vegas. Pitt wins.

It was never called a safety nor should it have ever been considered questionable . The rules are pretty crystal clear on that play

Great to win to keep pace with the rest of the teams in the division. It's a good thing the team did not waste a loss on a mediocre QB like Trubisky. The defense was strong, and the offense contributed.

Any word on Dugger?

I can't believe Parker was out there for 54 snaps and was a non-factor. Bourne had multiple big plays (though a couple were taken away by ticky-tack penalties) on 22 snaps.
If he doesn’t start producing, he’s gotta get bumped down. Right?

It Tommy had thrown that same pass you 100% would have written that he gave Agholor a chance to make a play and you would have probably praised him for trusting his guy. Evans must be a magician too, because that is the type of catch he makes for Brady on a regular basis.
LOL TB12 really occupies that space in your head rent free doesn't he? Nobody even brought him up.

BTW Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers scored 17 points unanswered... AFTER Evans was thrown out of the game. Just a little update for you since you're so obsessed with TB12.

Bedard is a CLOWN, NOONE but detractors here take him seriously.

Guys, you should know that that tweet is satire, and not an actual piece written by Bedard...

I mean, Bedard is still an insufferably condescending negative numpty, but don't blame him for satire based on him.

Bedard used to be a very good analyst for a journalist. But I think he has become full of himself and become a parody of himself. He is the Boston journalism version of Tony Romo.

LOL! I can't believe I got fooled by it. Well, actually I can. I get fooled often.

But I still stand by my he is the Boston journalism version of Tony Romo comment though.

C'mon! Herbert had a rookie season that was record setting. Do you want me to point out the hundreds of second year QBs who were completely ruined by having a new offense their second year. Far more second year QBs fail with a new system than were successful.

And Besides, you can argue Herbert wasn't as good in his second year than his first year or at very least he didn't make a significant second year jump. But because his first year was spectacular, nobody really cared much that he either flattened out from year one or took a slight step back.
I don't believe that QBs get "ruined".

I mean, it's Poe's Law: On the internet, it's impossible to tell the difference between an actual extreme opinion, and a parody of that opinion. But "@BostonSatire" was my tip off

Why not?
To be blamed is his reason to exist.

Great great Victory

O-line looked good, with Cole leading the way actually.

Rhamien is a deadly duo, if used correctly

Tavai was our one of our best lb today? What? After all Ive said? Mack Wilson looks like a keeper tho

Our Secondary will get exposed by Studs. Everything else we can cover

Mac Jones... shows signs of regression
Pretty sure Hill and Waddle are studs.
