The first game they played okay. The 2nd game was where they physically got their a** kicked.

People seem to forget that the entire O-line was playing hurt. In fact, that year, the only O-lineman who didn't miss time to injury was Andrews. He missed time because they played Stork..

Post replay of game thread post....

Couldn't stream game because streaming sites blow now. Gotta jump through hoops and sign up with credit card.. F Dat NFL. Watching full game replay isnt bad , there is no sound which is more controlling bullshyt from NFL , but ads are included to further fack with your depleted desire to watch..

Whomever posted that originally isn't looking very hard. The NFL Reddit forum regularly has free streaming sites that don't require CCs and are in HD (720p or 1080).

1. It was very windy in Buffalo; sustained 15mph, regularly 25mph
2. The passing game was limited downfield, and the Bills flooded the zones, relying on a 3 or 4 man pass rush for pressure.
3. The Patriots had no running game.

So, I don't know what you could expect, really, given these factors.

I will add:

1. I've been a little concerned about Brady's arm this year
2. But last night, he showed he still has it when he threw that rope to Edelman late. Fired it in there.
3. Brady's missthrows this year are largely because he has not felt comfortable behind the line
4. & he has poor form, often throwing off of his back foot.

Translation:

I think Brady will improve!

Have to give credit where credit is due - a nice postgame thread with lots of links to both Buffalo and NE sources from the Two Bills Drive forum:

That was a brain dead penalty that he took on the punt, however.
No it wasn't. He wanted to block the guy from getting the ball in case it bounced into the endzone. His only mistake was leading with his helmet.

Ian making the post game thread? Behind the scenes power struggle with Ashley.
Lol, nothing like that. I happened to be on and figured I'd make her life a little easier

It felt anticlimactic after watching the World Series. At least it was over in three hours.

Yes it was brain dead. His mistake was blocking at all. The penalty on him was not for leading with the helmet. It was for blocking after having called for a fair catch. I.e. totally brain dead penalty. That's basic stuff he should know and remember.

I wasn't aware of that rule. Thank you for enlightening me.
