But he's currently in a better place than he was last week: better team, better coach, better facilities. Life's alright for PS Zappe.
I'm happy for him. He just got married. And now he's QB3 for the best team in league. As you said, not bad at all. He's a good kid that will make a decent backup for somebody someday. I'm not wishing anything serious for Wentz or Mahomes, but I'd love to see him as QB2 just so the haters here who call him "garbage" will have to twist themselves in endless knots to explain it all away.

Name three patriots practice squad guys who ever made a big difference for wins and losses

And a practice squad salary.

I don't know about players on the patriots practice squad but Amendola and Woodhead started on the PS. If we want to point out the some PS players can become something, Jason Peters, and Kurt Warner. I am sure there are others but I am done looking.

Only Wendell started on Pats practice squad
I'm not sure what distinction you're trying to make?

Vinatieri wasn't practice squad but NFL Europe.

I'm sure if there was an easy way to look it up you'd be surprised.

Fair enough. Was just trying to determine if PS signings have consistently made a positive difference for teams.
It seems that the answer is mostly no.

Strengths

  • Four-year starter with outstanding traits.
  • Arms like vines with enormous hands.
  • Range to slide down the line and cut off back side.
  • Short-area quickness to elude blockers when needed.
  • Able to slither around traffic and make challenging tackles.
  • Length to develop long-arm rush and counters off of it.
  • Flashes agility to bend the edge and flatten tight on the track.

Weaknesses

  • Will need to get stronger.
  • Struggles to press and separate when blocker finds his frame.
  • Gets pushed around by tackles at the point of attack.
  • Below-average hand usage in both phases of the game.
  • Can be too passive in early stages of the rush.
  • Needs to create a workable rush plan with a signature move.

Butler, Develin, and D. Andrews... Now you can argue why those guys didn't make a "big difference in wins and losses", but then it's just the definition game, which I have played a lot here and am starting to find tiresome. So if that's what you want to do, not interested. There's no doubt all three have been impact players.

Put a little bourbon in your coffee, I was kidding. How often do I curse at someone with a one word post?
