I never really cared about homefield advantage. If we are a true championship team which I believe we are with the players we will have coming back, it shouldn't matter where we play. What is dissapointing is that this team didn't really have to do much to clinch homefield, to me that's dissapointing and a reason to worry
I just hate how low my confidence in this team is right now. Even if we miraculously come back and win this game, how can anyone in their right mind think this team is winning a sb? The only thing giving me hope is I don't think any other AFC team is that great either.
That would be the entire defense, not just the secondary. The run defense played great. The secondary was bad. I am sorry. McCourty giving up tons of plays. Landry running free in the secondary.
The defense wasn't bad overall, but the secondary was trash in my opinion. Giving up tons of big plays.
I get that it's the playoffs and anything can happen. But honestly, what have you seen out of the Pats the last few weeks that really makes you feel they're gonna make a deep playoff run? And please don't tell me about returning players. I'm not saying it's never happened, only that what I've seen the last few weeks has not inspired confidence.

It's nothing to do with chicken littles. Did you watch the game today's? Zero emotion, zero fight (offensive). Lineman getting blown off blocks, completely whiffing on assignments. Bad deep balls that could have changed the momentum. Horrendous play calling. The very real possibility of having to go to Denver. Now that last part is out of their control. Can SD beat Denver? Sure. Division game and all. Happy to need that to happen? I'm not.
It was a massive turd. Disgusting, awful and not a way you want to start the playoffs.
