This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Games like this, I sit back and remember Kansas City game last year, and smile 2 myself. They will not see us coming. Don't get too high, don't get too low either.
Everytime I see a Bolden run I already move on to the next play. I would gladly take never seeing him run again for the one in eight times he busts through.
Edit: Not to say I don't like him as a ST'er. I just think we should treat him like Slater.
I understand that Edelman and Vollmer are not playing, but are we really much better with just those two? I mean we look like a monkey ****ing a football out there, and that's against the lolphins! I'm mean what are the realistic expectations in the playoffs?
It's also an injured Amendola who is basically a roster spot right now. It's pretty obvious from watching him he's about 50% right now and has no burst. Plus, it's the cumulative impact of everything. No Edelman and ineffective Amendola means no guys who can get open fast. No guys who can get open fast means you have to hold onto the ball. Decimated by injuries up front compound the issue. No Vollmer impacts the guards, impacted guards impacts the center. Needing to keep additional protection in nullifies backs and tight end.
The cumulative impact on the key players returning to the lineup is equally impactful in a positive direction. Opens other receivers up, gives the offense more ability to mask line issues, continuity in the line helps pickup, etc, etc...
Football can't be viewed in the vacuum of single player impact. Same goes with the defense. The whole is always going to be greater than the sum of its parts. This team, if healthy, is going to be incredibly difficult to beat and should be expected to beat anyone they will face moving forward. These past games can't be taken as representations of how the actual team will look. They're wearing Patriots jerseys but they're not the team they will be fielding in two weeks.
