The Cards didn't play very well. The Pats weren't the greatest either but they overcame a ton; like some bad calls, some 3rd & long situations and most of all: missing the #1 QB of all time and a top 3 TE of all time.
Great win by the Pats. Even with some tackling issues and poor third down defense, the overall defensive effort was great.
Jimmy G seems to have a good grasp of the offense. The Pats should definitely be able to go 3-1 now, if not 4-0.
Jimmy G's numbers tonight were on par with a "Brady game."
Nothing against Tom, but that's a credit to Jimmy G, the other players, and of course the coaches.
Whoooooa, there, Hoss! 1 touchdown ain't "Brady numbers". I like Jimmy, though, he managed the game very well. If he can keep that up, with the soft schedule we have the next 3 games, we'll be in great shape.
I love the euphoria I feel after these kind of wins. Still boiling over that Bennett call but I'm getting over it quick. To have so much of the machine left in New England and still come up big was just a terrific end to my weekend.
Btw, I love the Patriots but I can't help but give a huge man crush nod to Fitzgerald. Guy is a gamer and has been amazing to watch over his career.
