He is the best guy CBS has right now. I hope he tries to keep himself mentally in QB mode for a while because the insight he provides is just amazing and it would be a shame if that would fade for the more plain useless commentary.

Romo is calling what both teams are going to do before it happens.

Except for when he called Brees, Brady. Except when he said that NO was going with a play-action and they handed it off.. Except when he said that there was motion and NO just snapped the ball.. Except his fixation on Develin and other teams not using FBs (Bills, Ravens, Chargers, Cowboys, et al)..

Nobody's perfect...it's refreshing when a guy admits it.

But I'm sure all these guys are coached on what to say and how to say it in the booth.

Neither of you understand what a pass rush really is. Your comments are proof of that. The Pats have pressured Brees quite a bit already in this game.. Just because it's not to your liking doesn't mean it's non-existent.

This whining about the Pass Rush by certain parties is a pretty consistent theme. Despite the Pats ending up in the top 5 on Sacks, Pressures and Hits..

You are talking to people that still dont understand the different roles a LDE and RDE play in the Belichick defense in the past years. For them the only pass rush that counts is the one that gets all the highlights on ESPN or NFL Network.

Yeah, Romo is pretty good, great if you consider him vs. his colleagues. He had a few moments, like once he referred to Brees as Brady but overall it was nice to have analysis that I can't make myself. Thought it was telling when he mentioned he'd just want to hand it off to the fullback instead of doing a sneak.. That's why you're in the booth and Brady is out there winning.

Two weeks and Tony Romo's already the best commentator in the sport.

It is only regular season commentating though. His issue has always been getting it done in the playoffs. We will need to wait and see on him.
