Sometimes active is just the 8th least injured guy who is not really ready to go but given gillislee and Grissom are inactive it would seem otherwise since Grissom is a core special teamed and gillislee would be a nice luxury.

Wonder if Gillislee even makes the roster next year. Once their playoff position is set, maybe the Pats showcase him as possible trade bait.

They’d have to wait until next season, since the trade deadline passed around Halloween-time. It’s hard to see them getting much of anything, though. I think they had to part with a 5th rounder to bring him here, and it’s hard to imagine getting much back for him after not being able to crack our top 4 RBs.

Maybe a late rounder, but probably more likely that he’d simply be released in the spring/summer.
