This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.
At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.
Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.
This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.
If you do you will have your account suspended.
I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.
Pats offense needs to get it going tonight. It is December and they are finally healthy. They have only a few weeks to get it right. If they want to win they need to really get back into the 25PPG range without a defensive score/defensive turnover leading to easy points or STs play.
The other teams are too good this year to just lean on our D.
I'd have to agree, though every game is it's own story of matchups, etc. The Texans are just good enough defensively to be a good barometer of where the offense is currently. I'm more interested in the running game tonight. I hope for another step forward.
The Pats have to start stringing together some good offensive games. Can they sustain drives tonight? Can they score without the D or ST's giving them short fields? Can they convert 3rd and 5+ consistently? These are some of the other questions that should be answered tonight hopefully.
People can make fun but I like this kind of thing. It builds an identity and helps the rest of your D set an aggressive tone. Of course you need to perform if you are going to do it and be taken seriously.
Yeah, I get that - obviously it's not a 1:1 comparison given all the variables (and I never asserted it was).
But BB and co. have more than just this dome game to look at, and surely there are a lot of little elements/variables of kicking that they'll be evaluating too.
Appreciate what Folk has done, although I'm curious to see what Forbath can offer.

Official Volin Prediction: Texans 24, Patriots 20. Going against my better judgment by picking the Texans, but Pats have struggled on offense, and the bout with the flu all week can’t help

Didn’t the Texans try wearing Letterman’s jackets before? Panthers walked around the field during pregame warmups with baseball bats which has been outlawed. Honestly, nobody really cares. If the Pats LB’s showed up looking like “Boogeyman” would that now scare people?
