Right, and the odds of converting 3rd and 12 (or putting it into a situation where you'd go for it on 4th) is much lower than a 4th and 2. Also field goal percentage drops after 43 yards so pushing an attempt back from 37 to 47 is a big deal. It was the right call based on probabilities.
You are correct, but it has been emphasized more because of Brady’s injury in ‘08. That was really bad for the NFL having him gone for the year. It was one of the worst NFL seasons I’ve ever seen.
I'm talking about both work and outside of work. Many times a negative incident will effect a relationship for a long time. I don't know, maybe that isn't the problem with Brady. Maybe he's just not being pushed by the QB's around him. Jimmy was a plus for us as he undoubtedly made Brady a better QB and pushed him to be at his best.
