Can someone please tell me more about how the defense is "totally carrying" the offense? Something about how the offense "sucks"?

Quick half-time thoughts:

1. The combined containment and rush by the DL has been OUTSTANDING all game....so far. If this continues it will really be impressive.

2. Remember the Texans defense IS really good, so a 20 point first half is pretty good.

3. Dorsett has been a big surprise with 4 first half catches.

4. That last drive was a thing of beauty and design. Who else runs 2 I formation runs to start your 1 minute offense. WOW

5. The most surprising thing so far is how well the OL has protected Brady. We aren't going to see the 5 sack 10 hit repeat of last season

Because apart from XP and FGs there has not been a single positive play by the ST unit so far. Just pointing out the obvious.

Really? Nothing positive? Because not allowing a punt return is a positive in my book. So is a partially blocked punt. Surprised at you, luuked.

That was Dorsetts coming out party. Two huge completions and he got out of bounds both times, then he caps it with a TD catch.

Agree, he arguably had a shot at the endzone on the prior catch, love that he played smart and gave them four shots at the endzone, plus was rewarded for it.

The Texans suck. Horrible franchise.

They have some talent that for a while elevated them within a terrible division.

It shouldnt be a surprise to anyone that they arent ready week 1.

Can we agree that when Brady misses what? 10 passes that Its sloppy? Can we not get defensive guys. Were winning. Its awesome. But it hasnt been pretty.

Not unless you agree that 21 points and 3 touchdowns against a great defense is incredible without Edelman, Amendola, Kenny Britt, the other injured guys. We have one (1) wide receiver from last year. Our #1 pick at RB is out. Exactly what do you expect?

The offense sucks because they didn't score TDs on every drive and because Brady didn't complete every pass he attempted

Considering the last time I think Peterman started he had five INTs, he is improving.

I humbly disagree. The guy is a wall. I've yet to see anyone get around him. He's tossing Clowney(one of the games best DE) around like a little girl. The dude is a monster.

I agree that it is impressive.

I disagree that the Texans are gonna be great. Wheels falling off this wagon completely for them this year. Imo

Jeremy Hill’s punt tip block? That was huge for the sake of field position.

Unfortunately it didn't ended up a positive play and the ball ended up pretty close to where it would have most probably be anyway.

But whatever point is that coverage on kicks is pretty bad every damn time. For a GDT that usually ****ing goes wild about any small issue it is almost ironic how you have really reasonable criticism and then people wanna actually argue those observations. But that is the GDT logic I guess.

Gronk's catch is the definition of the new rules

Exactly, it probably wasn't a catch but it was a direct result of all the people who spent the last year *****ing about a couple calls going the pats way to the extent that they got the rules changed. Now a bunch of borderline stuff is going to be called as catches, and the pats offense, like everyone else, will see the benefit. When the same people turn around and ***** about this, it's just proof that their only guiding principle is hating the pats. I don't like that this was a catch, objectively speaking, but I was also fine with last year's non-catches in our favor being called as they were

I've never been a big fan of the ST unit since Scott O'Brien left. Not particularly impressed by Joe Judge and the fact that Belichick is often standing near Judge and regularly communicating with him makes me suspect I'm not the only one who feels that way.
