Newton, from a strictly passing perspective, is just not very good. That Meyers play HAS to be completed. I think he’s told that if nobody is open, he has to eat it and take a sack. How many games have we won where the offense turns it over multiple times? I hate that he holds the ball too, but it’s probably better than a forced throw into traffic

We need to make plays out of special teams if we're going to have any chance this year. The team is simply not good enough on either side of the ball to get nothing out of the punt return. Besides, how do we know Moncrief can't catch a fair catch either.

Why is Moncrief available? Because he has hands of stone. Look it up. Not trying to be cute - it is well known. One game he dropped 6 passes.
