You really are OK with focusing on Defense for the first 2 days of free agency? Shame on you!
===============
Seriously, we've spent more than anyone, and there is a lot more to come.

We are indeed focusing on Offense. We just haven't been able to sign any shiny objects yet. With regard to WR, it is one player at a time. I suspect that we have moved on Cooper. We are waiting for Robinson to make up his mind and then we may have to move on to someone else with regard to the OL.

I expect us to sign a couple of OL's before the draft, probably in the next week or so. I would think that a RB or two must be coming, but that could wait, even until Training Camp.
========
OFFENSE - just a start by the team spending more than anyone else
RT - signed Moses
TE - re-signed Hooper
QB - signed Dobbs
WR - signed Hollins
Let’s not wear “we don’t more than anyone” as a feather in our cap.
We spent more because we have less. Spending to fill holes on a 4-13 embarrassment of a team starts out as getting out of a deep talent hole. The fact that we still 79 million under the cap means we still don’t have an NFL caliber contending roster.

Other teams didn’t spend as much and don’t have as much left because they have players taking up that cap space.

It’s like if the league started from scratch, we were the farthest behind in building a team before FA, did the most, and are still the farthest behind.

I personally refused to listen to the doubters when mayo was hired. I didn't take in account just how much good coaching mattered and what it takes to become one. Mayo not having to go the course of say Vrabel vastly impacted his ability to be a good head coach. I was wrong. I'll never underestimate the value of coaching again.
I think there's a huge value to having to go out and make your own way.

The concern there is you currently have 4 started who stink, and 6 others who are average or worse. I don’t think you can have success surrounding Maye with that and rookies.

So far we have last years roster on offense plus Morgan Moses. Moses won’t make that much of a difference.
I agree: Maye is not Brady no one is but I'm very concerned about the Offense. Vederian Lowe shouldn't be sleeping well at nights. We might have a Top 10 Defense in the making but the 32nd Ranked Offense currently.

Who have they lost from the offense? The only offensive players on the roster at season's end who aren't with us anymore are:

Jacoby Brisset - backup QB
JaMychal Hasty - 3rd RB
Chuks Okorafor - was on inactive list

They added Moses at RT, Dobbs at QB, Hollins at WR.

I'm not here to tell you they're good on offense. You just keep saying things that don't make much sense so I'm trying to understand your logic. I don't understand how you can say they've only lost players form the offense when they haven't lost anyone who played meaningful snaps and they've added pieces. Still bad offense? Yeah, I agree. I just don't understand how you think they're worse, especially considering they made what I feel is pretty universally regarded as an upgrade in coaching too, along with (marginal) improvements in personnel so far with Moses and Hollins over Okorafor and Hasty (Dobbs is worse than Brissett but inconsequential because it's not someone who plays unless injury).

Thank you. You've perfectly summer up my point.

Hollins was added to my post before this reply, I totally overlooked our brand spanking new 35 year old tackle and did you even need to acknowledge the third string QB?

Anyway. I'm not going to argue semantics on if they're worse or not in March. I said what I said. They're not good. Debating if I'm wrong or not when you acknowledge that the offense isn't good seems like a waste of time. If they're better, which is your take, they are only barely better. Not worth the efforts made here.

Yes, Vrabel did that and won at a high level as well. Taking Ryan tannehill to an AFCCG... Derrick Henry credits Vrabel with making him the player he became.

absolutely right, we haven't signed any all-pros yet

We have gained a starting RT and some relatively minor additions.
#1 overall available FA? Check.
#1 overall available CB? Check.
Culture guy, team captain on previous team? Check.

Maybe you mean they haven't signed any of the guys on your fantasy team or any of the brand names you recognize.

The good thing is twin. Is the season don't start until September. We have a ways to go.. I don't think enough people understand just how bad the roster had become the last several years. We will be ok!

If he’s doing that he doesn’t get how it works. He should be leaking they’re making a final hard push for him rather than saying they’re out, that way other teams feel pressure to up the offer since we have so much cap.
Or maybe it's the Pats leaking in order to bring the price back down.

Overpay for a single offensive player. Please. Does Drake need to personally massage Bob Kraft to get some help at WR?

Good question. Probably time to look at guys under contract thru the end of the season, who probably won't get signed by the existing team. Just guessing, but Myers, Atwell, maybe a long shot Garret Wilson. Not likely to get a name brand guy, so you, your twin and LTD will have to relax. They'll likely bring in a team first, professional type guy like Collins.

They are a first year staff trying to establish culture, so they bring in Landry, Spillane, Davis... guys they are familiar with who will lead by example. Collins is a STer/WR.... he's a football player first. He's not some diva "get me me touches" type. They don't want that guy right now, which is why they went so hard on Godwin. I would expect them to draft a guy early, but the odds of them getting Ai-yuck or some Ridley/Diggs guy is microscopic IMO.
I think AiYuck is a Draft Day Trade deal in the works: he's going to be ready to go when the season starts. AiYuck for a Third hopefully Fourth.

He's a better coach than Mayo. Way better. It should make a difference. A sizeable you can see it from the jump difference.

If they go out there have get 6 wins then were gonna have a huge problem on our hands.

Agree. Still need to add some veterans. But if I had the choice of A Cooper or C Kupp at their price tag or Tre Harris or Jack Bech in the draft, I’m going with Harris or Bech.

My dad is a huge Chiefs fan and he keeps telling me that he is so impressed with the Chiefs for staying good despite drafting at 32 most years. I AM LIKE MOTHER ****ER I KNOW.

He thinks it's impressive now, tell him at least they won't be drafting down there for 20 years

That is typically what follows I know mother****er

Popular name on here, taking a visit to another team. Haven't seen any reports connecting us to him.

Justin Skule really intrigued me, not sure if the Pats were on him or not.

Why wouldn’t you get both?
