Official 2022 Tompa Bay Gronkaneers Thread

So he's going to be calling primetime games when he's done playing. I honestly didn't see that coming and curious to see how it'll play out.
The Boob Tube is where the money is. He'll probably make as much or more there as he does in the NYFL.

Wonder if being a minority owner of the Dolphins is a conflict of interest?

It seems almost certain that this is Brady's last year.
Brady going the analyst route like Brees and Romo.
I know they get paid an insane amount. Anyone know how much? Ballpark it might be in the 20million range?

From the article above:

"A future in front of the camera always seemed to be in the cards for former star quarterbacks like Peyton Manning and Tony Romo, who are now both enjoying plenty of success in differing roles. But it wasn't until Brady left New England for Tampa that he opened up in the public eye, appearing in a number of advertisements and showing much more of his personality with the Buccaneers than he had with the Patriots."

An added benefit for leaving the Patriots is the ability to set yourself up for post retirement from football, which Gronk and Brady have been doing.

If it's anything like Aikman's deal he'll get more than he was offered by the Pats.

It sure does seem like both of them have opened up. Gronk didn't need to be opened up much though.

Manning is still a ****.

Manning comes across as a know it all, I am better than you guy. Don't know why the NFL treated him like royalty.

In Gronks year in retirement, he seemed to have been trying too hard, and not as successful financially. Now he comes across more natural and seems to be having a lot of success out there. The 2 years in TB has improved his brand.

Other reports saying it's 10 year 350mil. WOW!

Yeah, with money like that it's going to be hard to say no and play for a lot less.

If the Pats can't do it this year I can't think of a better ending than Brady going out a champion and I think that will happen.

Bucs still have about $19 million in dead money on this year's cap -- most of it is from Marpet, Gronk and Suh. Marpet retired unexpectedly, while the other two had voidable years on their one-year deals last season.

Bucs main competition is Rams to get to SB. All other NFC team would be an upset and that includes choke artist Rodger.

Half of the AFC teams have gone all in. Pat's will just be scrapping to get a playoff spot. Mission impossible for SB for Pat's this year, although in the future, all these all in teams will have to pay the price.
