No new additions to Practice Squad??? What does that mean?? Is Yates one who may be waived and end up there?? I am a bit surprised by not adding anyone..but maybe the Cap being at the top is an issue.

The cap is the issue, I believe there is only $38,500 of cap space left at this point and practice squad players do count toward the cap.

I don't see Yates getting waived unless we need to sign an injury replacement, BB is gearing up on OL for the playoffs.

Added cap space

Yates being waived back to the PS would add space to the Patriots cap. His pay rate would go down. After Ross Tucker gets the plays down enough to be properly evaluated, and passes muster, the Pats may do so.
