That's true, but openly throwing a regular season game is complete garbage. This is some stupid a** narrative that we should feel bad for NYG after tonights game. They finished 6-10! They’re lucky they even had a shot to sniff the postseason at this point.
It wouldn’t shock me; maybe that’s why we won today. Better to pick 15 than to not pick at all. That's true, but openly throwing a regular season game is complete garbage.
I know it gets said a lot, but if the Pats did this they would literally lose draft picks.
I understand playing your backup, but wasnt Sudfeld #3 on the depth chart?
Seriously, what did they need to evaluate?
If it was Wentz that had the Eagles in position to win it, and they pulled him for Hurts, I would totally understand.
But I really don't get Sudfeld for Hurts.
(Not that Hurts played great tonight).
You don't get it? Everyone else does. The eagles weren't playing to win. That was clear before the game when they ruled out numerous starters. When the eagles were in the game in the 4th, Pederson pulls his starting QB for a scrub to get a higher draft pick.
All the networks are all very excited about three game$ both Saturday and Sunday.
That's never going to change going forward.
In the past I always loved the divisional round, because you usually had 1-4 and 2-3, plus 1-4 and 2-3 the next day.
Four great games featuring the eight best teams, as opposed to just two games for the conference championship weekend.
Not sure how to feel about this change with six games (the new wild card format).
It's watered down with a #7 out of 16 getting in - but three consecutive playoff games on back-to-back days is enticing.
That doesnt tell the whole story.Tuesday:
Schad: Dolphins' Josh Boyer should be considered for NFL assistant coach of year
