BTW, the Seahawks are healthy enough to play press man, and they're keeping CK in the pocket, and they're kicking ass.

CK is who I thought he was. The SF defense is what I thought it was. The Patriots loss was, in good part, due to really poor game planning at the start.

That was my whole plan going into that game. Wear the defense down, then by the 4th quarter they would break. I just didn't anticipate a 28 point hole. But I'm not surprised if the Pats game took a lot out of the 49ers. I expected they wouldn't be able to sustain that intensity 2 weeks in a row.

You have to wonder if clever zone schemes may do a better job than the usual man coverage + strong D-line that is all the rage.

...not that we've had much success with 'clever' Zones.
