NFL has SO many bad teams this year...it sucks
Right! I don't remember a time when the league overall put out such a mediocre product. There are always bad teams, but this many is alarming. The AFC is crap behind NE, unless you really believe in Cinci. The NFC is hardly better. There's Carolina, Arizona and then a gap. Even Seattle is pretty much done, unless they go on a winning streak.

damn, Jets just scored

That Cover 2 or whatever KC is playing is killing them right now. Tyrod is picking them apart in the middle of the field.

Is it unreasonable to hope the Bucs can beat the Colts?

That's your opinion, Deus, and I don't begrudge you that, good sir. I, on the other hand, stand by my original statement. the 1 o'clock games are dreadful. I'm waiting for the 4's and the main event tonight. I kind of like prime time games.

  1. Jets/Dolphins - playoff implications + comedy possibilities
  2. Bills/Chiefs - playoff implications + battle of good defenses
  3. Vikings/Falcons - playoff implications + battle of two teams needing major bounce back performances
  4. Saints/Texans - playoff implications + first week with new D.C. for Saints + watching improving Texans "D"
  5. Giants/Redskins - playoff implications + Manning face potential
  6. Bucs/Colts - playoff implications + oldest QB v. youngest QB + possible more Colts Schadenfreude
  7. Rams/Bengals - playoff seeding implications
  8. Chargers/Jags - playoff implications but a dog game
  9. Raiders/Titans - young, promising QBs but a dog game

So, only 2 true dog games on a 1pm slate. That's solid.

Texans up 14-0 on the Saints.
I got excited about this and then quickly realized it's the Saints and their defense is dreadful. With that said, the Texans have strung together some wins and, say what you (not YOU) want about the teams they've beat, a win is a win. I can't wait to see what kind of game they give NE.

I'm not going to argue with you, bro. I'm talking entertainment value and don't know how you don't realize that. I don't care what the implications are because it's NE and then everyone else to me. As long as NE can hold on to at least the #2 seed, what the hell do I care what everyone else does, especially the NFC? But again, I appreciate your opinion.

Fitz usually starts out hot...then the picks come

Working in his favor is hapless Tannehill a real challenger to pick dominance

Watkins is showing why the Bills should have been feeding him the ball all these weeks. It looks like Taylor's gotten the message, at least for this game.

Sean Smith having an absolutely terrible game

Not even out of the 1st quarter and Taylor already has 150 yards. Had 230 all game Monday.

3 rec 90 yards 1 TD for Watkins. Is Butler on the All-Pro team yet?

Refs doing all they can to make sure the Giants stay in the game

Browner picks Hoyer. A gift, actually.

The buffoonery of the Redskins is mind boggling.

The 5-5 Giants can take a stranglehold on the NFC East with a win today against the 4-6 Redskins. Both Philly and the Cowboys are toast.

The Giants would be 1 game over .500 and hold a 3.5 game lead in the division with 5 games left.

Want Bungles to lose (driving inside the 10 for 2nd TD) but it is also nice to see that fraud Jeff Fisher exposed as a mediocre at best HC
