He loved Drew Bledsoe too, for whatever that was worth.Who is to say Bill will have final say on Brady's future? The owner loves Brady like a son.

BB has evolved the offense over the years. I am sure he will look to evolve. Dont be suprised of o'Shea comes back to replace josh. The system NE uses works very well for Brady but it also IMHO significantly limits the pool of receivers NE can draw from.
With McDaniels (probably) leaving and Brady almost done (2yrs tops, IMHO) I wonder if this is the time Belichick decides to move on from both Brady and the heavy option read system. (They can still use EP terminology and concepts, but have fewer options on routes) and start to retool around what Belichick envisions the abilities of his next QB to be (whether Stidham or someone else).
I am sure brady feels going against mahomes twice a yr for the rest of his career is his best chance to get to the SB again.Chargers fans don’t seem to want Brady. Their OL is really bad, Brady wouldn’t love it.
I agree with the system comment. But lets face it. Brady is the system here. and it has worked for long long time. And the team adapts better between seasons like any other.Redshirt RB is a luxury you don't really have when your TE depth chart is arguably the worst assembled by an NFL team in the last 20 years.
Meanwhile, Metcalf just dropped 160 yards in a playoff game. If your system can't get production out of a guy like him and instead gets you what we watched last night, then your system needs adapting
This yr he had crap to work with. Yes.I don’t believe this report or whatever you wanna call it. But I wouldn’t blame him even though he has all the money in the world. If taking discounts all these years left him with crap to work with, why settle for a penny less than what you really deserve?
He won 6 Super Bowls, not all by himself. Tons of great teammates. Would we win last year with no Gilmore? We always spend to the cap just differently than others. He has not had crap to work with. But I wouldn’t blame him even though he has all the money in the world. Not without significant improvements on offense. He’s been to 4 sbs in 6 years. You don’t have to cry for him. He understands his best chance to win is here.
This team has less need to improve than any team he could go to.Not without significant improvements on offense.
Peter King on Sky Sports live right now talking about his conversation today with Brady. Saying Brady said he wasn’t at all surprised by what happened in the game. Shouldn’t expect something in game that we can’t do in practice and haven’t done all season. Basically saying receiving options haven’t clicked all season and noone should be surprised. Brady told King he wasn’t that disappointed since this was expected. Weird. King saying Brady is 50/50 chance returning to Pats in his opinion but 100% chance to return to NFL next season. Sounded like Brady was a bit ticked that Pats didn’t commit to him and then handicapped him with these WR/TE options.
Atleast some first hand narrative. King said he’s writing his article right now for tomorrow about this.
Crazy stuff. Almost sounded like Brady is resigned to the fact that Pats have moved on from him but he’s not done playing.
Will be interesting King article tomorrow. Brady must have authorized him to write this to get the word out he’s available.
I think that coming up OTAs working with the young WRs etc are part of the deal.If he will not take something to help the team attempt to put an offense around him this coming season, then I guess goodbyes are in order. I know Glazier is just throwing excrement at the wall to see what sticks.
Love the guy, but he has grown tired of BB. BB wants someone who is totally in. Who will set the example by doing things BB's way. BB wants a QB who will start the off season program like Brady did in the 2000s.
If the Krafts are not careful, they can lose BB here. I can envision him walking away if any of the Krafts decide to give Brady 30m plus a year deal.

Lol can’t wait for the nonBiffins spun version.Biffins this is by far the most interesting post you’ve ever made on this board, keep it up!
There is no gurantee that metcalf wouldve performed here the same way as he has in seattle. Many rooke WRs have struggled in NE with the system and playing for brady. Metcalf maybe pro ready for seattle , maybe not for NE.
Regarding harris, he is doing the same job white and verreen did before. Red shirted in the rookie season. We will see his real worth next yr when burkhead or white are not around.

Jesus. Ok you go with that. My god the stupid in this place hurts.Considering this team needs a complete overhall on offense thats not true. Dallas and Miami alone have better offenses already
