NFL Rumors: Patriots could see 'Mass Exodus' of Coaches, Executives, this offseason

Flores will be here for a while. He has shown that he can scheme well against inferior competition or the Teams in the AFC Least.

I love sports journalism (not that regular journalism is much better), where you can just make shot in the dark speculation and couch it in mush words like "could" and, if you're right, people praise you as a genius and, if you're wrong, nobody holds you accountable.
You might be right.

So you don’t believe that BB wanted to move on from Brady?

I think if BB truly would have wanted to move on from Brady then the situation would have escalated in the offseason/preseason before that. I just can't see someone who tried to minimize distractions to his teams through his entire career going to Kraft in the middle of the season to talk about trading his HoF QB.

The timing just does not fit at all.

With respect to JK and “exodus”, one thing I remember from the Wicksersham piece (which for all its faults turned out not to be nearly as made up as people here were hoping/insisting) was an assertion that what a lot of people under BB were worried about was JK taking over and that a lot of them would strongly considering leaving when that happens.

It’s gonna happen at some point. I’m hoping JK has the same fire to sustain success as his father did to put the resources in place to build a winner.

I guess it is time to give that piece another read with the benefit of looking at it a year later.

LaCanfora’s last bombshell report was the Ravens and John Harbaugh would be parting ways after this season. How did that work out for him?

But, Easterby’s inclusion in the report leads me to believe it’s sourced at least, as I’m dubious LaCanfora would even know who he is otherwise.

I said this the other day when I mentioned this roster could see a major overhaul, why is this board so against this? Aside from the secondary group there isn't one position group that doesn't need a major upgrade. This roster needs some speed and young talent.

He will be here as long as BB is here...if BB retires and new HC comes in...good chance Flores is gone....overall he has not done best job this year with defense if we are being honest

Does anyone have an update on his progress? Can he replace Hoyer next summer?

No way to tell. A couple-three weeks ago, BB complimented him on his progress and his work getting the defense prepped for opposing QBs. Etling is a mobile QB, so that may have helped the Pats defend guys like Allen a bit better this season.

This season, with Mahomes, the Chiefs have been using a lot of the college offensive concepts that have been developed by Matt Canada who was Etling's OC and QB coach during his senior season (2017).

Canada also coached Nathan Peterman to an 8-5 record at Pitt in 2016 (beat Clemson at Clemson 34-3). He also coached Brissett at NC State, and was the OC at Wisconsin under Bielema when James White and Melvin Gordon were the RBs.

Canada was the interim HC for Maryland this season.

O line is fine.

What a joke.
Just the way it starts: "If you thought last season was drama packed",??
The only real drama was in the media.
There was never a speck of evidence that there was any rift, with anybody.

Yet here we have another idiot doubling down.
Man , the whole NFL and Media are just sickening anymore.

Every time the Pats stumble, the media and fans predict the demise of the mighty dynasty.

Of course there will be people leaving... and coming.
Like every team, every year.
Guys get traded, coaches get better opportunities, guys retire....

What a dumb *** article.
"This is the time to get out" .. LOL.

It's just not a great, healthy, super young, talented team this year.
You can't hit the jackpot every year.

But, I bet there are plenty of players and personnel that would love to come to a perennial contender. Who else has proven better, longer?
And the Pats are still in it this season… so far

Until Brown gets paid elsewhere and Cannon who has been average at best this year is cut or asked to take a pay cut.
That's not a major overhaul. They just drafted Wynn.
