The individual to whom I was replying stated "No vaccine = no practice ---- no practice = no games" and "Players can't spend a dime if they're dead." I was asking him about the plausible scenario where no vaccine is created and widely distributed within the next 18 months (yes I know some vaccines are in the trial phase, and let's all hope one of them works and gets to market soon, but 18 months is a plausible scenario.... could take shorter, could take longer).You keep repeating this "no sports until 2022" phrase while numerous posters have already pointed out that this is about empty stadiums and not a blanket ban on sports until there is a reasonable and safe way to reintroduce massive audiences without it becoming a potential super-spreading event.
Yes, it seems the majority in here - myself included - anticipates there will be empty stadium contests this year, but I was trying to gauge the opinion of one who clearly stated that there should/will not be sports before a vaccine.
