NFL Investigating the cheating Baltimore Ravens for having players in pads at rookie camp

Found the prior incident: In 2010, the Ravens had to cancel their final week of OTAs because they had broken the rules around how OTA practices are conducted.

I'll keep my eyes peeled for commentary about how the Ravens are habitual line steppers, will do anything to win, operate in the gray areas of the rules, continually push the envelope of gamesmanship and think the rules don't apply to them.

But now they are "repeat offenders" so at least a couple of draft picks, right. Half a mill. Harbaugh out at least two games. I mean, c'mon, not only integrity is at stake here. This violation has direct impact on player safety. That's Job One, right?

Imagine if we lived in a world where the Pat's owner wasn't a spineless schrill for the league and came straight out and said that they should be docked a 1st and 4th round pick for their blatant and continuing violations of NFL rules.

How many times has something like this occurred in the past, but the teams' player reps were playing along or afraid of losing their jobs? The players' union should have a union-paid staff member present during all OTAs and rookie camps to enforce the rules. I can't imagine why the union wouldn't push for this.
