“No UFA shall qualify as a CFA if the player’s NFL Player Contract is renegotiated to reduce the Maximum Possible Term of the contract.”

Interesting that anyone with Option/Void years becomes ineligible for Comp Picks.

They'll probably go external for a player who has been waived or had void years on their contract so they don't count in the Comp Pick formula. So they CAN get a 3rd round comp for Jackson.

I smell a 2 year rebuild...at this point right now , we're the 4th team in the division. My opinion is BB will draft LB early, draft CB's in the middle rounds, take Olinemen late and look to FA to get another D lineman. This draft is deep with WR's...THAT is why I think he will NOT draft at that spot until the 6th or 7th round. Please spare me the "McGrone!!" fantasies...he's a special teams player.
