me it is true and considering some what I've seen/heard I am wondering.
here's some stuff to consider.
1. NBA is on record that refs take pay offs to influence game out comes
and the ref caught said he is not the only one doing it. Is it a stretch to
think there may be NFL refs doing it also?
2. PATs with an offense scoring 30+ points a game just finished off a team
with a pretty good defense in the playoffs with 40+ points and is held to
13 points by an old D.
3. The ratings for a Harbaugh vs Harbaugh Superbowl were off the scales.
There are billions involved here folks. With that much money at stake it is
possible some people were bought to influence the outcome of the game?
4. Tom Brady. Think about his body language. Did he seem like
he was really playing to win? To me he didn't have that fire in his eyes.
His body language seemed to say " I already know what the outcome will be .. so why try hard .. I'll just do what I'm paid to do"
Consider it all ask yourself ...
does it make sense that this offense is held to 13 points with NO points in the second half?
It almost seems like the no 2nd half points was
a rebellion to the game being fixed .... the only way that they could
say it was fixed without saying it verbally.
Thoughts?
So the fact that the Pats actually lost a game indicates a conspiracy? Did Brady conspire with the D- lineman who swatted his pass for an INT? Did Ridley conspire with Pollard to get knocked out?
So Brady was resigned that he was battling a vast conspracy and lost all hope and desire to rally his team mates? Is it within the realm of possibility that the Pats were simply outplayed and were unable to make adequate adjustments? Nah, that's a wacky premise...the conspiracy theory makes far more sense.
No, I don't think so. Maybe in the 06 AFCCG. Pats got bent over pretty bad. Was probably because of Polian's whining. Not sure the ravens making the super bowl is better for the NFL than the Patriots. With the Patriots you either love them or hate them. So you can guarantee people will watch the super bowl.
You can have all the beliefs you want, but, you've gotta let the Ridley fumble go. It was a fumble.I also think it's childish - and dishonest - to mock people who have enough sense to open their eyes and see that corrupt officiating is regularly deciding the outcome of games, and that it cost the Patriots a trip to this year's Super Bowl. I think if you took any rational adult who was not a sports fan and explained to him or her the rules of a fumble, then showed him the replay of Ridley's fumble, he or she would be amazed (and confused) that it was ruled a fumble. Then if you explained to him the rules of defending a receiver, i.e. the defender can't make contact after five yards until after the ball arrives, and then showed him footage of the Ravens DBs defending Pats receivers two Sundays ago, he would ask why penalties were not called. Then if you explained to him the rule on holding, and then showed him footage from any point in the game of the Ravens OL at work, probably at that point the non-invested non-fan would make the only sensible conclusion, and comment that the officiating was crooked.
I don't know who is doing it, whether it's the league or the mafia, and it doesn't matter. Anyone who denies it's happening is part of the problem.
It won't change until enough intelligent people who care about truth and decency walk away. If tomorrow twenty million people decided to boycott the NFL until the NFL cleaned up its act, you'd better believe things would change in a hurry. But as long as people willfully cover their eyes and keep buying tickets, merchandise, etc., it's going to keep happening.
For me, there's no point in watching if I know that it doesn't matter how well my team plays because the money may be on the other team.
Timeouts for commercials in the middle of a drive is all the evidence you need.
Which is exactly why you shouldn't post on the topic.I also think it's childish - and dishonest - to mock people who have enough sense to open their eyes and see that corrupt officiating is regularly deciding the outcome of games, and that it cost the Patriots a trip to this year's Super Bowl.
I'm going to ignore the ridiculousness of your evidence and focus on the ridiculousness of your motive.3. The ratings for a Harbaugh vs Harbaugh Superbowl were off the scales.

I was thoroughly entertained by your 2007 Super Bowl theory. Without evidence it will only ever be a theory, but entertaining none the less. To add more fuel to the fire, there were 2 or 3 blatant offensive holding penalties on the Tyree catch that were not called, not to mention that Eli was in the grasp. Also here's another conspiracy angle involving A$ante Samuel. We all know he made it no secret that he was all about the Benjamins. Is it possible that the dropped interception and the blown coverage on the Tyree throw were not just innocent mistakes? Just sayin.
Which is exactly why you shouldn't post on the topic.
Here's an even better question: If you believe any or all of those things, then why are you a fan of the sport? I would never follow a sport I believed to be rigged. And yet, here you are.Ignorance is bliss. You're part of the problem. And, you either don't know much about football, or don't pay very close attention to what you're watching.
All those who have resorted to ad hominem in this thread - I'd love to hear your explanation for the uncalled offensive pass interference by Burress in the 2008 Super Bowl, or better yet, the uncorrected clock cessations during the final minute while Troy Aikman noted it for all the world to hear, or the uncalled personal foul when Brady was speared in the chin. Then you can explain how it really doesn't make a major difference when one team has to play by the rules in the rule book, and the other one doesn't; maybe you weren't watching closely enough to see the Ravens OL holding nearly every play and not being called for it, or maybe you think Eric Mangini was making it up when he observed on national television that the Ravens DBs were allowed to break the rules the entire game? I'd love to hear an explanation of how there's nothing corrupt about officials deciding to selectively not enforce a rule that's in the rule book and not open to interpretation; then perhaps you can explain how cornerbacks being released from any considerations of the rule book in how they defend the receivers of one of the most potent offenses in history, is not really that much of an advantage, and the Pats should have just been able to overcome it so you don't have to leave your infantile world of denial and face the fact your favorite pastime is a sham.
