The Vikings are adding quarterback Nick Mullens in a trade with the Raiders and they’re also parting ways with a couple of players on Monday.

The team announced that they’ve released wide receiver Albert Wilson and waived defensive tackle Jullian Taylor. Taylor was cut with an injury designation, so would revert to injured reserve if he goes unclaimed.

The Colts cut a pair of players on Monday.

Wide receiver D.J. Montgomery and defensive tackle Caeveon Patton were both waived ahead of Tuesday’s deadline for NFL teams to slash their rosters to 80 players. The Colts put tight end Drew Ogletree on injured reserve last week, so they will have to make two more cuts to get there.

The team announced on Monday that they have waived wide receiver Terry Godwin, defensive back Shakur Brown and defensive back Shyheim Carter. Brown and Carter were waived with injury designations that will allow them to revert to injured reserve if not claimed...

...Linebacker Justin Lawler was released to round out the day’s moves. He played in three games for the Rams last season.

The Chargers also announced that they have waived kicker James McCourt and guard Cameron Hunt ahead of Tuesday’s deadline to get to 80 players.

The Bengals have started their second round of cuts.

The team announced that they have waived three players. Wide receiver Jaivon Heiligh, wide receiver Jack Sorenson and tight end Scotty Washington have all been dropped from the roster.

The Panthers have trimmed their roster by two in advance of Tuesday’s deadline.

Carolina has cut offensive tackle Austen Pleasants and linebacker Khalan Tolson, the team announced on Monday.

The Steelers shuffled the deck at offensive tackle on Monday.

The team announced the signing of Adrian Ealy. Jordan Tucker was waived in a corresponding move.

One last move for Bucs to get to 80 players a day ahead of the NFL roster cutdown -- tight end Bug Howard, who had joined the team at the start of training camp, has been waived. So Howard, S Troy Warner and WR Vyncint Smith cut, and Stinnie and Gill go on injured reserve.

The Broncos got started on cuts to reach the 80-player limit ahead of Tuesday afternoon’s deadline by dropping a member of their 2021 draft class from the roster.

The team announced that they have waived defensive end Marquiss Spencer with an injury designation.

I REALLY liked Max Borghi coming out of college. Depending on Montgomery’s injury, I wonder if the Pats would take a look, Borghi was a great pass catcher out of the backfield in college.
