NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION Monday Night Football Week 5: Bakers vs Jimmies

Sf looks good

With the Niner blow out, I'm going to end up 4-1 in my football pool. The ironic thing is that the only game I lost was the one I thought was the surest thing to cover. Dallas - GB with GB on the road without their best WR. Go figure.

But the best thing to me in this Niner win, is the fact that the team WITHOUT a single brand name WR (Samuel, Pettis, Goodwin) blew out the team who had JUST the kind of WR's that all the idiots around here are just slobbering over themselves to get.

Some lessons are NEVER learned. The Niner were FINE with their good but not great WR's. Certainly a lot better than the over priced over rated divas on the other side. We should be happy with who we have, which in my opinion is a better group than SF....or should be by the end of the season

To be fair Kitchens is just an awful coach and inexplicably choosing him as the next HC has screwed the Browns out of two years where they had the roster to be a serious contender.

This year will most probably end up being a 9-7 or 7-9 kinda season which won't give them any blue chippers to draft and it will end up in either one more year of this **** under a new OC or maybe they clean house and the team will go through a change of direction that might take time to fully develop.

Either way they will have pissed away 2-3 of the cheap rookie years of a lot of talent they had. And then -- despite all their cap space -- the bill will come due with market deals.

But I digress..

My point was that with that coaching it really doesn't matter how much talent Cleveland has on offense. They look so clueless and without a plan.

A lot of proven coaches wanted this job. Kitchens had been a positions coach for almost 20 years before having just one year as OC. A multi-billion dollar franchise hired him based on an endorsement from their 23 year-old QB. As you’re suggesting, the time to win is now.

Kitchens is in over his head. You have an OL that absolutely sucks in pass pro and only 18 runs called, two of which went to Beckham. That team has by far and away looked better when they’ve given the ball to Chubb and let him wear defenses out while effectively freezing the pass rush. Even last night, he was breaking off over 5 YPC.

This is a game I am thinking of attending

I had a couple of games circled to try and make. I went to Banner Sunday Night vs Steelers, I'm going vs Browns and maybe another one at Gillette still working on it. I have a free ticket for Monday Night vs jets*if I want it. It's good to be a Pat's Fan.

In high school and college (mid/late 80s/early 90s before Tuna) $50 got us tix, food, beer and parking.

Gonna up my game here. In the mid 60s I'd take my future wife to Fenway Park for Friday night Boston Patriots football. Sat in the bleachers which was the end zone. Can't precisely remember, but think seats cost $2 each. For reference gas was $0.29/gallon.
Remember fat bowling ball Billy Joe of Denver bouncing off our D Line and going around for a 70 yard TD ramble.
Part of the adventure was broken beer bottle fights breaking out behind us. Good times!

Oh yea?

When I was wooing the future Mrs. RW I paid $40 for two tix to see Michael Bolton at the Worcester Centrum in 1992.

Shh. Don't tell anyone

:p

Mayfield can be a jerk, but Sherman was proven to be a liar which is oh so satisfying.

and even if the snub was true, he’s such a hypocrite. He’s talking about “etiquette” and he’s the one who yelled into Tom Brady’s face after their victory in 2012. Couldn’t stand him since then and hope he loses every game he suits up in

Looks like Sherman got exposed for being a lying sack of crap.
