Mitchell returns.

Malcolm Mitchell gives the Patriots a receiver who can play against Man coverage effectively. I'd even go so far as to say he'd be the best at it other than Gronkowski. He has decent size and the kind of speed that you have to respect. He's not a burner, but he is still a threat to get down the field. They were beginning to show more of that late last season, though I don't recall seeing it in the playoffs.
He is familiar with our system and knows where to run the route. That pretty much crosses two receivers off the list, right there.

How he will dictate coverage versus say, Dorsett would is a whole different discussion, though.

I really like Dorsett. Willing blocker, often-open speedster, and does something with the ball whenever his highness deins to look his way. I hope he sticks around.

And also, yayyy for MM!!!!!! Get on the field buddy!!
I can’t wait to see what a full offseason could bring out of guys like Dorsett and Britt—and even Cooks, for that matter. We should have a decent WR group in 2018.

Exactly knowing how we suck at drafting them. Really like Juju Shoemaker in Pittsburgh last draft. Pats WR Scouts are stealing money.

IMO, WRs need to catch on fast with TFB or they probably never will. They end up in that dreaded Brady doghouse. Which is why wily vets do better with him than athletic freaks and/or youngsters.

10 offseasons won't make Dorsett a top 4 target in this offense

...which is where Dorsett will spend convalescing while he is here.

It's WR Purgatory

Cooks, Hogan, Mitchell, Amendola, Dorsett, and Britt is a very nice and diverse collection of talent at WR.
My question is whether the team will carry six WRs, which appears doubtful. I hope this doesn't mean IR for Hogan

Who are the WRs who washed out with Brady but went on to have strong careers after that?

Would love to see him back in the mix. Guy was steady as hell in the Super Bowl even when things were collapsing.

Crazy poise for a rookie. Can't teach that.

We also don’t spend a lot of high picks on wr.

Don't forget this guy..

Valentine can't come back. You only get 2 IR-DTR and they have used both now. They used one earlier on McClellin but he had a setback

I however think with the rate of injuries teams shouldn't be penalized if they use IR-DTR and a guy has a setback and goes on permanent IR. Or at the very least teams should get 3 or 4 IR-DTR instead of 2.

Lol no I meant the heavily bearded guy on the left.

Chad Ocho Cinco had a solid career after the Patriots:

You could argue LaFell. His 2015 was a wash out.

**** yeah. just gives me a bad feeling about Hogan. hope I'm wrong. having both would be crazt

The Steelers are insanely good at finding WR talent out of nowhere, we're really good at finding RB talent out of nowhere.

Has Mitchell been officially designated? I thought he was allowed to practice a couple of weeks before they had to activate him.

Naw I think hogan will be ok. Did he actually practice today? Was he limited? I am hoping he can somehow play against the jests.
