Miami likely to be 1-0 (Big Ben has surgery : Merged)

Culpepper is one of the worst at protecting the football, and the Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league.

I figure that this game went from being a sure win for Pittsburgh to being a tossup. A gambler's nightmare.

Their bes QB is benched until Culpepper sucks in everyone's eyes. Chambers is no Moss... Not even in the same hemisphere. Culpepper was horrible without Moss... There ends my comparison... draw the conclusions.

I really don't want to get into this, but;

4th greatest rating of all time.
Highest completion percentage of all time.

But seriously, I'm not in the mood to argue this today, so take your one shot and lets be done with it.

Didn't you say in this or another post that Big Ben was highly over rated? Have you seen his passer rating and completion %? He was crap without Moss and he hasn't won jack. Fins fans will be greatly disappointed in DC when the year is over. 9-7 tops and that is if he stays healthy which is doubtful. Steelers dominate that sissy fin OL and sack DC at least 4 times and he throws a minimum of 2 picks.

Dolphin fan here.I will be the first to admit that DC will have to be on top of his game against the Steelers D and same goes for the rest of the team.I think this game can go either way with or with out Big Ben.As for the Patiots, I think Miami has at least another draft before they can make a run.I know your team is the enemy but my hat goes off to your team for what they have accomplished.I would rather have a team within the AFC East win the Super Bowl than any other.
I am from Michigan and am proud of what Tom Brady has done and it makes me sick that Miami blew him off.My pick for the AFC Title this year is the Patriots.Next year I belive Miami will be giving the Patriots all they can handle.I say this because I TRULY believe in what Nick Saban is doing.Good luck guys

Chambers will do this year everything Moss did in his best year. After this season, when you talk about Marvin Harrison, Torry Holt and Terrel Owens, you will be mentioning Chris Chambers as well. Count on that!

When you use that Moss argument it shows your lack of knowledge and research. Look up Daunte's game stats from 2004 and look at the games Moss didn't play. I've done it countless times on this site and I don't need to any more. Enough is enough on that argument because it is complete BS.

I also love your predictions. It's doubtful that Daunte stays healthy? Why is that? Because he is back form an injury? Alright, I can counter by saying that Rodney Harrison sucks now and can't ever be the same because of his injury. I also hope you don't believe this Dolphin team finishes with the same record as last year's team.

4 sacks and 2 picks huh? Daunte hasn't turned it over yet in a Dolphin uniform and I think you are wrong there. It seems like you too are rooting for an injury. Are you?

Wow, a Dolphin fan with some sense. I'm not buying it. You're probably just a pats fan who made another account and posed as a dolphin fan. Either way, Aqua4Ever04 should take note.

Why does he have sense? Is it because he is kissing you guys' a**es and saying that the Pats are better? Well I'm sorry but I don't believe that. I only speak what I believe and in a few months, you will all see exactlly where I am coming from. I could just as easily say you guys aren't making any sense because you don't agree with me. He says Miami is a year away but that's BS. A year is only going to make our big defensive starts a year older. I don't really see what another year is going to do talent wise.

People might actually value what you say but the problem is you lose a lot of credibility when you say things like Tom Brady is ok. The guy is a first ballot Hall of Famer and you should be able to recognize what he has done without actually liking him or his team. Stop saying ridiculous things like that and people might actually take what you have to say a little more seriously.

'normally' i do not like the Steelers but thursday i will make an 'exception'...

I'm not sure I'm going to root for either because I greatly dislike both teams, and at this point in the season it is to early to tell which teams loss would most helpful. I think this will be a game that I just watch with a neutral stance, and just try to get a feeling of what to expect from each team.

I get it Culpepper is great - look at his completion % and rating?

It would be a legit argument you could make, except you called Big Ben extremely overrated.

Comp % - Ben 64.7, Culp 64.4
Rating - Ben 98.3, Culp 91.5

Hypocracy at its best.

I assure you that I am A Dolphin fan.My family and I were on vacation down in Florida when Miami completed the perfect season.I was 10 years old at that time and I was hooked for life.I used to also like the Lions but got tired of that PATHETIC organization.Although I think Barry Sanders was the best back EVER.Imagine Barry back in the early 90's with the Cowboy offensive line. You would be saying Emmitt who?

I never said Tom Brady was average. The only knock I've ever pinned on Brady, was that Peyton Manning would've won too if he was the QB for the Pats. That's just my opinion. I've never seen a QB as good as Brady is in the 4the quarter. His decision making and accuracy seem to become perfect. I agree, he is a hall of famer no doubt. I don't think I ever said he was ok.

Normally I wouldn't care who wins. They are BOTH rivals. But this time around I'm a Steelers fan, being that the Miami fans (see reply in this thread) already have such HUGE heads for no reason. I'd love for the Steelers to take them down a notch from the outset. But hey, if Miami does win it wouldn't be a surprise. Facing backups at WR and QB makes a win easier for any team in the NFL.

I absolutely hate doofin fans....living here in Florida having to listen to their arrogant BS every preseason....only to have them all jump off the damned bandwagon after about six months makes me sick!!!........Last year when the doofins were 3-7, these so called fans were calling for Sabins head....."he's a college coach,....he isn't going to get it done" etc....when they "won" their last six games ..(5 out of 6 against the leagues WORST teams...the 6th against our scrubs).....all of a sudden Saban is a genius....and they are ready to erect a statue of him along side Shula.....worst jacka## fans in all of sports IMHO....right alongside the yankee fans......

I'd also like to point out that no Miami quarterback has turned the ball over this preseason.

I guess Daunte had a lot of ground to make up tonight.

I'm sorry, I just can't take you serious ever again. LOL!
