We now have double picks in each of the first FOUR rounds.

Our own

Oaklands -- 1

Carolina's -- 2

Minny's -- 3

Denver's -- 4

Hello rookie cap

Re: Read this - it helps....double picks

Yeah this helps. Because last I checked every rookie we draft is an instant HOFer.

Hello rookie cap

Great! And more good news, the Pats own picks probably just got alot better when they dont make the playoffs this year.

Re: Read this - it helps....double picks

so we are set for 2014...this is like a KC royals move...thats what bothers me..

Re: Read this - it helps....double picks

If we use them on future Maroney/Chad Jackson type players, who cares.

Re: Read this - it helps....double picks

well...i like it but i ll give the 3rd and the fourth and the two 1sts to have back the 07 Randy

Re: Read this - it helps....double picks

We can't pass on the DEZ BRYANTS of the next draft.

Re: Read this - it helps....double picks

We haven't traded Moss yet. And if a third round pick is the compensation, then this is the worst trade in NFL history.

Would Moss leaving via FA after 2010 get us 3rd rnd comp. pick?

Someone would give this guy a good paycheck. Even if it were a 4th, you'd be trading Moss (and the 2010 season) and a 4th rnd comp. pick for a 3rd round pick. This makes no sense.

This is great news ..... if you are a draftnik.

Re: Would Moss leaving via FA after 2010 get us 3rd rnd comp. pick?

probably, but not if the pats are active in free agency.

biggest steal since Pats got Moss for a 4th

I think you will either see a player in there also (toby gerhart please) or something conditional

probably, but not if the pats are active in free agency.

why would they start now? especially with all the draft picks they need to find homes for.

Re: Would Moss leaving via FA after 2010 get us 3rd rnd comp. pick?

According to AdamJT13 it couldn't be higher than a 5th. And it would be in the 2012 draft.

Unless the player is Adrian Peterson, Bill is giving up on the season with this move. That's the simple truth.

A THIRD???? ridiculous! when I first heard about it, I was wondering if the Pats were trying to shore up the defense or somethig. But I honestly can't see the reasoning behind giving Moss away to the Vikes for a thrid roud pick, when you could have kept him, and let him walk at the end of the year and received a thrid round comp pick (which will be no more than 5 spots away from where the Vikes pick will be.

This makes no sense, granted Moss was a little off after the first game, but he was spectacular against the Jets, losing him, changes the entire dynamic of the offense, and to only get back a pick that will sure to be in the ninties?????

The traded Seymour in the last year of his deal for a first round pick, I can't see trading Moss for a thrid round pick, AND THEN HAVE TO WATCH HIM TORCH OUR SECONDARY IN A FEW WEEKS!!!

If the Vikes were willing to part with their first round pick, I would think about it, maybe the second, but we drafted a receiver in the third round last year, AND HE HASN'T EVEN SEEN THE FIELD YET!!!

Unless they have some more moves in mind, cough, Vincent Jackson, cough, cough, I can't see the reasoning behind this one.....
