Respect your opinions as a rule Vin, just think about that for a minute please.
Our man Biscuit is an 8 year pro. I wouldn't exactly feel warm and fuzzy about him seeming 'jacked and pumped' for preseason reps behind a **** O line. In fact, if he was I'd think he was a candidate for a rubber room. He sure looked like he gave a damn reacting to his endzone INT though, he was downwright pissed at himself
That EZ pick looked like a rookie mistake. Stared down the receiver and then didn't have enough athleticism to drive the ball. The safety that intercepted the throw almost overran the interception because the ball was so telegraphed and late.

QBs make mistakes like a tipped ball, or over throwing a receiver, or miss seeing a guy falling back into a passing lane, but staring down a guy in your 9th year in the league is inexcusable IMO.

Brissett does not look off the safety, does not go through progressions, does not have great footwork, and is an average athlete with an average to below average arm. I have no idea why we resigned him.

Maye is a rookie but he looks amazing when he replaces Brissett because we naturally compare what we just saw in Brissett to what we are seeing in Maye.

Having Brisett's NFL experience and familiarity with AVP's offense in the QB room make him worth the one year investment regardless of who starts
That take is overrated like Biscuit: AVP's system utilizes the deep ball Biscuit doesn't have the arm strength. We would never see Thornton's potential if Biscuit starts.

AJ said when we signed Biscuit we signed a guy who's worse than the one we Traded. Biscuit is really bad he brings nothing to the table. The question have already been ask is Biscuit worlds better than Zappe?? We just gave money away signing him in FA he stinks.

Brissett has a strong arm.

I will add this ... I don't see Brissett looking very motivated.
He's playing for a head coach who is a professional motivational speaker.
Team kind of jumped too soon signing him ... short term Zappe is extremely motivated to further his career elsewhere.

oh well Jerod/Eliot show your balls ... team is better off long term without him ... like Judon right ???
That's a bit much ... motivational speaker?.. wether people want to believe it or not.. Bill courted Mayo to come into coaching and also endorsed him as a future HC... I get it everyone has thier opinions.. but all the patriots players and especially veterans have said Mayo's been excellent. The guy inherited a 4-13 team with the worst offense in the league. Let's root for him... bills not walking through the door!

Zo mentioned when Drake was in AVP was calling plays he did in college....
Because Maye currently has no clue in the west coast system AVP is installing (Gaspar's words not mine).

Brissett must not have a clue either.

He can be an Investment as a backup. If maye daye got hurt.. maye daye should be starting it's clearly obvious at this point. We have nothing to loose at this point. I don't expect us to make the playoff, but maye will make us looks much better on offense and will attract FAs. We don't have any future HOF QB for him to sit behind. That guy left in 2019!

Kraft, if you wanna pay the mortgage this year start Maye! He's the ONLY attraction. Consider the fans...I would influence Mayo a little on this one.

Baptism by fire for Maye. I prefer Zappe for backup.

I know that all of the Zappa-holics rose from the chairs in unison during the 4th quarter on Thursday night!

They focused their energy his way! It worked for a few plays! We only needed a field goal!

Then the botched snap happened

Let him go out there and learn from his mistakes. It worked for Bledsoe and even Manning. Throw some TDs, throw some picks, start recognizing coverages and assignments, learn how the game is played. Expectations should be low for the overall record but as long as he’s doing good things, making exciting plays. I’ll keep cheering regardless of the outcome. He has the gifts, let’s put them on display.
It worked for Bledsoe? He started out throwing picks and he never stopped.
