That EZ pick looked like a rookie mistake. Stared down the receiver and then didn't have enough athleticism to drive the ball. The safety that intercepted the throw almost overran the interception because the ball was so telegraphed and late.Respect your opinions as a rule Vin, just think about that for a minute please.
Our man Biscuit is an 8 year pro. I wouldn't exactly feel warm and fuzzy about him seeming 'jacked and pumped' for preseason reps behind a **** O line. In fact, if he was I'd think he was a candidate for a rubber room. He sure looked like he gave a damn reacting to his endzone INT though, he was downwright pissed at himself
QBs make mistakes like a tipped ball, or over throwing a receiver, or miss seeing a guy falling back into a passing lane, but staring down a guy in your 9th year in the league is inexcusable IMO.
Brissett does not look off the safety, does not go through progressions, does not have great footwork, and is an average athlete with an average to below average arm. I have no idea why we resigned him.
Maye is a rookie but he looks amazing when he replaces Brissett because we naturally compare what we just saw in Brissett to what we are seeing in Maye.
