I can't agree this is a trap game,I think a trap game would be one where the Pats would play the Jets or Dolphins next week which they aren't.

I think a trap game is a game against a mediocre opponent where everyone expects you to win and next thing you know they sneak up on you and you are on the short end of a 27-21 score. Mark my words: Detroit is a trap game. The Chargers? Well, they aren't having the best year so far but I think they are too talented to have this be considered a "trap" game.

Today's trap game was the games we used to say the fix was in. Well we had no internet and lacked much of today's information. We were convinced there were weeks where the bookies did not lay off their action so as to even it up ensuring a profit.

Oh well ... I'm no gambling expert that's for sure ... so I'm probably lacking some info here to explain it.

I just think it's funny to hear trap game and we used to think those were rigged games.
