Mac Jones Injury Video [UPDATE - X-Rays were negative]

I've been lucky enough to coach along side some NFL vets at some football camps. Many can't walk normally, many live with constant pain. The game takes a tremendous toll on the body. I have zero issue with guys crying out when injured, Mac or anyone else.
I'd have to dig up the title but a Philly sportswriter wrote a book on what players go through with injuries, coping and getting ready to play. Brutal

Mahomes does it. Always trying to get flags called. Runs & fakes going out of bounds, then scurries for a few more yards when D pauses to not get a flag. It's bush league. Someone needs to pop him so he stops that sh&t.

Taking a dive to draw a flag is also bush league, imo. Whatever.
Agree. I hate it

Who danced on Mac’s proverbial grave? Did I miss something?

Go back to the start of this thread and go through it. You will see several posters post in this thread multiple times and virtually every one of their posts were to bash Mac about his arm strength and/or decision making and/or whatever they like to trash him about. I don't think they even mentioned Mac's injury unless to bash him for his reaction to the injury and questioning his toughness. I am not going to call out anyone specifically. But it is easy for you to find.

Nobody is questioning his toughness. The kid is tough. It's his reactions or actions that are being brought to light. Such as taking a dive to garner a flag (called out by announcers), the Giddy dance in the EZ, his crying on the sidelines after NO loss last season, etc. These are not Patriot-like. It's as if he needs attention. I can tell you that if he played for another team, he would be mocked by our fan base.

It's a new generation, so maybe that's the way these kids roll. Are the other young QBs doing these same things? Idk, its just weird.

Lord almighty, what hooey. ANY quarterback who doesn't fall down after being pushed 10 yards out of bounds isn't earning his pay. I saw TB12 take numerous "dives" during his Patriots tenure and some of them drew flags. Is Mac the only NFL QB who's done a touchdown dance? Was he really "crying" after the New Orleans loss or was the competitor in him simply distraught? Your anti-Mac agenda wore thin many months ago.

I have read the thread, which is why I asked if I had missed something. I thought maybe a post had been deleted or I just skipped over something while playing catch up.

Pointing out obvious weak points in his game isn’t “trashing” him, nor is it “dancing on his proverbial grave.” I do agree that making fun of the kid crying is a bit much, but I’ve seen that coming from the DIEHARDZ more than the posters on the Brady board.

Please find any post of mine that shows I'm anti-Mac. I have been holding back any judgements on him because it's just too early in his career to tell what he will be. I haven't even made any posts on his poor play yesterday as dozens & dozens of others have. My beef is with having Patricia as OC. Stop your nonsense.

I am not going to back and forth with you on this. You have your opinion and I have mine.

But I will say this. As far as what goes on with the Brady Board, I don't think people who hate Brady or are Team Bill should go to that board and start crap, but it doesn't justify retaliation on that board. Most people on this board don't ever go to the Brady board and more than happy let you guys talk about whatever you want on that board. If people are starting crap on that board, they should stop. But people on that board shouldn't disrupt this board with spilling the war with these people onto this board either.

If they are even considering surgery, you gotta go with the expectations he is going to miss at least close to half the season if not longer even possibly the entire season.

If they do surgery, they have to fuse together his fibula and tibia to move the bone away from the tendon so the tendon can heal.

This is far worse than 4-6 unless they legit don’t care if he’s playing hobbled.
I was taking a guess I thought he tore something. If its more I would like to see Zappe get the reps.

I snapped a tendon (not an evulsion fracture of a ligament) in my ankle once (got reattached surgicallY). That hurt FAR more than the other run-of-the-mill ankle sprains I have had. So I wonder...

Most ankle sprains don't require surgery, even if it's severe...
High ankle sprains graded as severe often do.

He is done this season.

He will return jumpy and jittery afraid of his leg. Set your sights on Mac 2023.

There are half a dozen threads blasting Patricia, BB, Mac, etc. none started by the other forum posters. There are dozens and dozens of posters criticizing the team, none of which visit the other forum.

But yea, let's focus on the couple of posters that do visit the other forum that offer an opinion on what everyone else is talking about and make it all about that forum. It's old and tiring.
Also Mac10 has been demonstrably proven to be one if not the single most active poster in that forum. So it's kind of humorous that he's some poor victim here.

Any CPOY futures for 2023 yet? He's got my money. lol
